It works well and is lower cost than OEM
I've had an Onan Microlite 4000 generator in my RV for almost 20 years. The original fuel pump failed (it was leaking) last year and I had it replaced at a shop. They installed a genuine Onan part. This year that replacement pump failed. It would no longer pump fuel and prevented it from flowing by gravity to the engine.I had to remove the generator from the RV in order to install this pump, but other than that the installation was easy. This pump has been working fine since I installed it several months ago. I bought two pumps (so I'll have a spare) for less money than I would have paid for one genuine Onan pump. Now that I have a spare I expect I'll never have another pump failure -- cheap insurance.I'd buy another one of these in a heartbeat if I needed it.

Negative Terminal Too Small for Onan 4000 Generator
I started installing the fuel pump and discovered the Negative ring terminal was too small for grounding bolt in Onan 4000 generator. The terminal on the OEM pump was much larger and heavier made than this one. I wrote to vendor and they responded back asked me to modify it. This should not have been like this and for me to modify it would void the warranty.

Good Product easy to install
I installed another look the same as this one . The only difference this pump or filter did not leak after all the work I did to install the product. When I tighten from under the vehicle the fuel filter to the electric pump the filter body turned and not going any tighter. Too bad it leaked. Not this product it worked perfect so far generator started right up.

Glad it came quick, seems good
Was just a tad bit longer than the OEM pump for my QG 5500 Onan generator. The holes lined up and the fuel exit nozzle was accessible although a few millimeters variant from the OEM. The generator purred to life immediately after install. Trust this will last a few years.

Good product, fixed my problem.
I gave it 3 stars for ease of installation only because mounting tabs were not in exact same location as the old one. Mine had to be mounted in a very tight spot and the mounting holes did not line up. I was able to make new holes with self drilling screws. Mine mounted to the bottom of an Onan generator.

Works, with a caveat.
Works as well as OEM. However, be prepared to modify the bolt holes on the bracket to install the pump.

Died in 2 hours of use. My fault that I cant return it. Waited too long to install it.

This was a replacement pump for a Polaris ATV. Easy to install, worked.
