Good chest rig
Fits FAL mags perfectly. Good old school chest rig.

Faithful Repro
This Rhodie Bra is awesome. Made with canvas and smells like old school mil-surp. Real FN mags slide into it nicely, and the flaps open at command. Has a nice OD/Khaki color that actually goes with Multicam or old Woodland BDU nicely.Militarily this hearkens back to a lighter and more primitive time while still being on the cutting edge of infantry kit layout. Today it actually has the right pockets for a trip into the brush and palm scrub of Florida for feral hogs.

Cool, useful rig, solid build, low on customizability
What you see is what you get. It is historically accurate and solidly made. Will hold 4 x 7.62 NATO 20 rd mags, plus a small first aid kit and radio or compass and such in the far end pouches. It could likely handle 8 x 5.56 30 rd mags (though you may not be able to snap the pouches closed, though I'm not certain on this). It does have a strong new chemical smell when it comes out of the packing. I left mine in outside to air for a couple days. I also modified the back strap a bit. The double buckle loop system to tighten the straps works fine (and matches the period of this design) but leaves a lot of excess strap to hang and deal with. I modified it right away by sewing in a short 1 inch wide nylon strap/belt attached to the supplied double metal loops to add a quick release plastic buckle. Then got the correct fit across the back and cut off excess we belt and re-sewed the end like it was. Much nicer that way with a quick release of the buckle at my waist to get out of the gear and no long dangling belt material hanging there. May add a bit of molle type attachment webbing to the shoulder straps so I can attach a knife pouch and tourniquet pouch.

Good warehouse / surplus smell to it
Faithful reproduction of the original equipment. Good warehouse / surplus smell to it. Robust construction, fits well with plenty of extra slack around the waist for those of you who can't help yourself from the Tasty Cakes. Fits FAL & G3 mags with ease.

Very Poor Quality of Stitching
The item that I received was very poor quality, especially on the stitching. It appears that there are many areas that are fraying. Sadly, I do not know who to contact to get this issue resolved.

4 usable mags pouches
The outer 2 pouches must be the grenade pockets, they wont it the AR1/FAL/G3/M14 20 round mags.they will fit 20 round AR or pistol magsSize is pretty small for me but Im bigger than the average bear.

Great quality
Great quality item. Missing grenade pouches so you might as well order the cheaper one that comes without.
