Very easy to setup. Easy to clean and maintain. Noise level is not bad. I used to have a 10 gallon fish tank in the same spot and its definitley quieter than a fish tank filter. If I have tv/radio on I don't hear it really. In the quiet i hear a small water trickle and a slight humming. It sits about 5 feet from where we hang out in the living room. (Only place with an open outlet)My cat took some warming up to this. She was a stray kitten we adopted at 6 months old so alot of the indoor stuff was new to her. When I first set this up she was terrified of it and would actually pounce at it and run up to it to attack it and runaway lol it was adorable and entertaining. But i really wanted her to warm up to it and have another water option. So even though she didn't give it much attention i left it available and on. A week later she started pawing at the water stream and licking her paw! It took about 2 weeks but now she's officially accepted it as a water source and she loves it. I am so happy I didn't give up on a fountain!

I liked: whimsical; fresh water; cute set with the matDisappointment: My cat (age 11) love to drink out of the faucet and I was sure this fountain would be a hit with her. She likes to get her head wet too. I am disappointed that she wants no part of it. I am guessing it is due to the noise level or perhaps the noise itself (not one bit too loud or annoying to this reviewer).I thought my daughter's cat (14) would like it but she said "No thanks". I am not going to bother to send it back but will keep offering it to people I know or donate to a local shelter.I didn't want to spend anymore money since I was uncertain how it would go. If you have young cats perhaps you would like to step up a model or two. EDIT REVIEW: Although this product did not work for my cat maybe a prized possession to yours. Note that my cat is 11.5 years old. “NOT WORTH THE PURCHASE.....” was a bit strong. CUSTOMER SERVICE was outstanding.

Our cats love "running water" and constantly bug us to turn on a faucet whenever we are in the bathroom, so we got this fountain for them. They both use it and have no issues with it. It is located a couple of feet from their food dish, so it's in a convenient spot for their use. It's pretty quiet, until the water level drops, so that's a reminder to refill. Only issue is the price of the filters, at $9/2. That price wasn't available at the time of purchase, so I might have gone elsewhere had I known.

The matt doesn't even help. It's pointless If u ask me, but a cool little add on I guess.The water spout works great and had my KD cat drinking for a good 20 mins on and off. She really did enjoy it and it really is super quiet!! Except for the water dripping noise. It took four 16 ounce water bottles to fill the basin up. Haven't needed to clean it, but its easy to disassemble.

The media could not be loaded.  I have 4 cats and I used water fountains on and off during many years and recently decided to try again. My usual dislike of fountains is that pump is too noisy and cats are splashing water around a lot(cleaning). This water fountain proved itself to be very silent. I also like the ability to remove the top fountain element (flower) and turn it into just a water basin with a little moving water center, it gives cats more space to drink and not all of them are OK with drinking from a really running water. Underneath mat is very handy for water splashing and easy to clean/wipe. It was easy to assemble and it seems very easy to maintain. I also like that i dont have to clean or refill it every day, but just once every few days. less work

I am now re reviewing this Product .We got a few calls and email from the company to either return or replace our water fountain .Which is great ,That’s what customer service is all about . Care for your customers . Excellent . Thank you !5 stars .My first review .this t was easy to assemble .It looked cute.But it’s been exactly 8 weeks since I purchased the water fall . And it stopped working 2 weeks ago. I can’t return or ask for some help as the return window has passed . So please double check about it’s warrantee. That’s how these manufacturers or dealers get away with people like me who have no time to pursue for a waterfall .Good luck !

This was a life saver! Not only is it super easy to put together, it's quiet, and I know my cats have fresh water all the time! We used to have a big water jug that would fill a bowl but that was so hard to clean and the water was always cloudy. With the fountain I don't have to worry about if the water is clean. The mat it comes with keeps spill off the floor (especially when you have a cat that loves to splash water around!) The only thing that we had to take off was the little yellow cap that makes it look like a flower. Other than that this is such a great buy!!

We have three cats it took them a couple of days to get used to it but now they all use it and like it. The fountain was easy to assemble. I refill the water every 2-3 days. The fountain itself is cute and I like the little splash mat that came with it. One of the kitties especially likes to splash so the mat is handy.
