Hello all,Just received these today and had the chance to workout in them too. And these shorts are Awesome... one of the best clothing purchases for working out I've made. I just purchased two more pair; one black and one Green.For clarity: I'm 6'2" and approx 204 lbs maybe 206 on a high carb day.... lol. I purchased these shorts in Black and bought the ( US Large/ Tag (Asian XXL ---- Waist 33.5"-35.5" Length 16" ).As we all know clothes are hard to buy online. I actually have a 36.5 waist but I do not like loose fitting clothing. I like clothes - shorts and joggers, etc to simply fit normally as they should. So looking at the size chart this company displays I opted to buy the US Large rather than the US XL even though my waist size, according to their chart, is in the US XL category. Well, I am glad i did. The shorts fit just right. They are not not baggy nor too loose nor droopy nor saggy. They fit me like they appear in the product photos, but i can see how if you like a loose fit you would want to go up one size as the seller recommends.Material: These shorts are Awesome - the material is solid and you can tell it's cotton with the polyester blend in it. They are also a bit stretchy too which is nice.Fit: The fit for me is perfect.I like the nice heavy waistband, the zipper pickets are awesome, and the draw string is solid too. No complaints.The only thing i do not know is how much these will shrink when washed. It says wash in cold water so I am guessing since they are 80% cotton they will shrink, hopefully not too much though, but we will see. After I have washed them I will come back to update if there is any major change.Pay close attention to the size chart the seller has provided for your US size. So far so good for me. Was expecting the pockets would run the entire height of the shorts. It's barely deep enough for 1 tennis ball. Coins and wallets will fall out when you sit down.Other than that, the fabric is soft enough to go commando. It's not long and droopy like basketball player shorts. Nor is it too short and skimpy enough to become a pair of square cut swimming trunks. It's modest enough to wear everywhere in the summer.

One year later and they are in amazing condition. I wear them 2-3 times a week and have thick thighs that usually cause shorts to get holes/fuzz balls. Very happy with purchase and would highly recommend.

The material and the way this short is constructed is great. +1 for locking zippers, +1 for gusseted crotch, +1 for nice waist band. All pockets will comfortably fit a phone. Some of the pictures don't do the item justice. I spent a lot of time trying to get the size right. It didn't work. BUT, now I have a bunch of information that will help me get it right when I order again. I ordered a US L/CH XXL. The elastic waist is 26" relaxed and stretches up to 38". It can stretch more but at 38" the fabric sits completely flat. From the top of the waist band to the bottom hem on the side of the short measures 16" when the fabric is gently pulled taut. I didn't try them on because I can tell by looking the won't fit and I want to return them in perfect condition. These measures are taken flat so it is difficult to give you an accurate measurement of the inseam due to the gusseted crotch. I contacted the seller for a refund/exchange. He was courteous and professional and seemed very determined to make me happy customer. I've been issued a refund. I'm going to try a different size.

In what universe are these extra large? I understand the higher cut, and I wanted that for training, but this sizing is ridiculous. If you normally wear XL shorts you need a double or triple extra large! The large wouldn’t fit a 12 year old girl, and I don’t have a lineman’s butt or tanks for legs. I just have normal American man legs

As a regular gym-goer, I know from personal experience how difficult it is to find a pair of shorts that is attractively different from the norm for a male to wear: i.e. I do also have a nice pair of Nike shorts that are black; but when alongside very attractive ladies in their compression attire, it is ideal from a male point of view to have something that is similarly attractive, but designed for a male to wear; and that is precisely what need is met by these 'EVERWORTH Men's Solid Gym Workout Shorts'. I advise buying a color other than black for this reason, because that is the point, that it is NOT the norm for a male to wear, but an attractive alternative.
