Really works, no kidney stones
My fingernails have never been stronger or longer. Since about 3 weeks after taking this formula, I have had to cut my fingernails way more often than usual. Also, I often have difficulty with kidney stones when I take formulas that are not chelated and sourced from chalk (too large a molecule for any body to use and in my 20% of the population, they get sent to kidney stones), but no indication of stones with this formula and I've been taking it three months. I am pleased. I would like to know how to activate their guarantee, but I don't think I'll need to use it. I am confident my next Dexascan will show significant improvement. I prefer the formula that requires 3 pills/day instead of 6.

Strong Nails Strong Body
I am taking this since being diagnosed with osteoporosis, apparently due to heavy metal leakage from 30+ years of tampon use!!! In lieu of strong pharmaceuticals I’m hoping for some improvement with this supplement. I will say I have a little more energy, my Vitamin D numbers have improved, and my nails are VERY strong. My doctor is actually concerned my calcium is too high, a sign I might having absorption issues, but rather that than a deficiency I suppose. Still a work in progress but I’ve been showing some improvement after take one dose per day. I have a disability that presupposes me to reach negatively to all fillers in supplements and medications so I have to reduce dosages of any product to the bare minimum efficacy. Here is hoping it helps my body in more ways than one.

one's enough for me
chose this because it offers calcium along with the other minerals and vitamins one needs for maximum effectiveness. with fairly large capsules, just one has enough calcium and the other nutrients for me. my multivitamin plus some dietary intake will meet the rest of my daily requirement. not looking to get too much calcium at all, which i believe should be avoided.capsules are not too difficult to swallow but they're pretty big--some people might have a problem. size depiction on the label is what you get as i show in an image. price per dose is very reasonable and i also think the formulation is better than a hard tablet that you might get if you buy a cheap kirkland calcium supplment.boneup is basically a franchise with different formulations including one that is vegetarian/vegan. this one isn't vegan. label recommends 1 cap 3x per day. other versions have different dosages and schedules, so there's plenty of choices. i liked the one-and-done aspect of this version. i take it with a mid day snack and not along with any other supplements. expiration date is about 2 years from date delivered--plenty of time.

Bone Health
So far am waiting to see if works, but other than being a large pill, was very easy to swallow and after 2x of taking didn't affect stomach issue. It helped with knee. No taste. Hoping it helps hip.

3 per day!!!
I have been taking calcium for many years now. I don't eat what I need to replenish it!ONLY 3 CAPSULES a day! What a relief! Most calcium products that I've found require 6 capsules.I also take other meds and this has reduced the total amount. Much nicer to swallow!

Beware with osteopenia diagnosis taking Bone Up, DEXA scans be false
Critically important to know: My DEXA bone scans showed steadily worsening osteopenia, yet I have taken Bone Up religiously for decades. THEN EVERY DEXA BEGAN SHOWING NORMAL BONE DENSITY EACH TIME. I KNEW THIS HAD TO BE WRONG. I waited months to see a supposedly "best" endocrinologist. She consulted with a Mayo Clinic "bone specialist" who told her she could not treat me for bone density issues because my DEXAs now showed normal. I insisted on different proof of normalcy BECAUSE my shoulder surgeon had even put a note in my file saying he pushed his thumb right into my arm bone, and 2 bone anchors for repair both pulled out due to poor bone bone density. I finally found out about, and demanded a referral for a different kind of scan that actually measures all-important trabecular bone instead of the outer cancellous bone. IT'S CALLED: qCT SCAN (qualitative CT bone scan). Insurance Co. and Medicare don't want to pay for it. My results came back osteoporosis! As I suspected, DEXA had been falsely measuring "bad bone" (falsely misreading bone spurs and arthritic changes as good density). Realize too, your body may not be able to use calcium in this Tablet Form because of binders that hold tablets together. Bone Up has not helped me and misleading DEXA scans have masked the osteoporosis, even when taking capsule form for 2 decades (after finding out previous to that, that my body doesn't break down the binders holding tablets together)
