Product is easy to use and great for the price. Occasionally looses some suction but thats because a part isn’t tight or it needs to be disassembled and cleaned. I have two 55 gallon tanks and a 30 gallon. Used it about 30 times or so and it still works.

This product is exactly as described. Easy to assemble and use. Cleans appropriately. All pieces are heavy plastic, not metal, so no rust worries. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is the glass cleaning tool doesn't completely clear the aquarium glass, even after several attempts.

I was initially disappointed when I opened the box and several plastic pieces fell out and bounced across my floor. After I rounded up all the pieces, I decided to give it a shot, and I was pleasantly surprised. The instructions are easy to follow. The suctioning is really strong and you only have to prime the pump a few times and it self suctions until you lift the end up from the water. Make sure you have a few gallons of back up tank water prepared, because you’ll need to replace the water that you’re suctioning out. My turtle was fascinated by the device that i dubbed the turtle poop catcher. He was very nosey as I was turning over all of his tank rocks. He only scurried if i got too close. This was a good buy!!Update 9-27-19 started leaking from the seams on the 2nd use. I’m highly disappointed. Sending it back. Conceptually its a great product but its poorly made and leaks poop water. I had such high hopes. I was left bleaching down the area around my tank and followed up with vinegar water to make double sure i killed all the germs. Thanks for the contamination and disappointment.

Received this tank cleaner the same day I ordered it which was nice. However once assembled it doesn't work that well. It does siphon water out of tank but the suction isn't enough to lift out any of the debris or even fish poop from the bottom. Just kind of sits in the middle of the plastic tube and never goes all the way to the top. Then, it just falls back into the tank.

This was nothing like the other reviews! I’m a firm believer in reading n writing reviews because No one likes to waste money. And this was a giant waste of money glad Amazon took it back. Had no suction followed directions Exactly. And it still didn’t work

I used to have one very much similar to this product, but I had it for too long and it was too dirty. So I decide to change mine and buy this. These tools are very convenient to use, especially when the tank is too big and takes a long time to clean. The parts of the tools are easy to set up mainly because I used a similar one before, but I think for some one who uses it for the first time, they may take some time to figure out how to set them up. I must say that the instructions are not very clear and step to step. However, once you figure out to put them together, there shouldn’t be a problem for knowing what part is for which purpose. I prefer the one for cleaning the glass most and the pipes allow me to reach to the bottom of the tank and clean without empty the tank. The one that I had before only allowed me to reach the half of the tank, so that the bottom of the glass for the tank is always dirty. So overall I like this product and it’s price is also affordable.

It worked well for me maybe half a dozen times. I disassembled it and cleaned it out and it worked okay for a few more times. I disassembled it again, cleaned it and it kinda worked... I think it was no longer sealing well in many places resulting in a loss of suction. What did I expect, it's cheap flimsy plastic?! I don't feel totally ripped off but I wouldn't buy another one and I wouldn't recommend it.

As soon as I received this product I used it to clean 2 ten gallon tanks and 1 five gallon. The tubes a pretty long so if you have a deep tank it'll definitely reach. With that being said you can use one tube for the smaller tanks, very easy to adjust. As far as suction goes it's not the best I've seen but definitely gets the job done and made the gravel in my tanks look great again! For my five gallon I took the pump part off and just used the soft hose to syphin out how much I needed. Plus this comes with two ( hose tools? ) 1 is used to adjust the flow of water, the other connects to either the tank rim or the rim of the bucket used to disgard old water, depends on how you want to use it. The scraper I didn't use simply because I'm not fond of scraping the glass with anything not sponge. Either way if something were to happen to the set I bought I'd buy another one. Worth the money. Also easy to breakdown and let dry which I enjoy alot.
