great upgrade for older thinkpads
my old T510 only had 2.4 gig wifi, it was crowded and congested with wifi noise, i upgraded the wifi card with this 6300 and got 5 gig wifi and it works good, the card is included in the lenovo thinkpad BIOS whitelist so it works :)

It was ever so slightly different then the one that was originally in my computer but they are the same model number and after hunting down drivers it worked fine

Excellent x201 wireless card replacement.
The mini-PCI wireless card in my x201 started flaking out. This card is an excellent replacement and accommodates the third antenna that was hitherto unused.Ubuntu detects it and uses the intel wireless driver. After a couple of days of testing it has worked flawlessly.

Amazing performance and totally lenovo compatible
The 3x3 wireless speed is fantastic and well worth the upgrade. The card I received is a whitelist approved Lenovo FRU 60Y3193 that works perfectly with my Thinkpad.

This adapter is driving me crazy!
This adapter is driving me crazy! This Intel 6300 AGN wireless adapter worked flawlessly for the first two years or so that I had it (Dell Latitude PC running Windows 7). However, some time in the past year either a Windows or driver update have made this adapter totally unreliable. Once or more often every day the adapter locks up, and the only way to make it functional again is to either reboot the computer or go to Control Panel --> Device Manager and disable / enable the device. After doing this for months (with the latest Intel driver installed) it is time to move on to another wireless adapter. This adapter has become completely unreliable - avoid.Edit April 2015 - at first I thought that an updated Intel Windows 7 driver (version 17.14.0, dated 01/26/15) had resolved the above issue - but as of April the frequent loss of connections has returned with a vengeance. Avoid this wireless card if you want a reliable wireless connection.
