My 4 year old loves this book. I purchased this as her first pre-school intro. She often wants to do more than one page a day and seems to be keeping up well with the structured activities. One page only takes a few minutes to complete for an eager child. My daughter was able to recognize all capital alphabet letters within a month (one page a day) and has almost connected all of the uppercase and lowercase letters now in her second month of doing this book. We are taking it slow and keeping it fun, so I am pleased with her progress! I can definitely recommend this book.

We wanted to continue our daughters education through the summer so we bought sylvans book. It has a ton of pages with all kinds of lessons to keep your child wanting to learn. I def recommend this to all parents that want to keep their child learning even through the summer.

Not only do I think this is very helpful, My Son doesn't want to put it down. He wants to take it to Church, out to eat, wherever we go. Thanks for making Learning fun!MaryAnn P.

My daughter has been using this since she was 4 yrs and loves it! Easy to use and after a few pages she could use the workbook independently.

Very comprehensive Pre-K workbook. Any child who completes this book successfully should be fully ready for kindergarten. Fun, engaging, and age appropriate.

This is too difficult for PRE-kindergarten. Sylvan generally makes amazing books. Surprisingly this book is not any easier than the Kindergarten book (which is exellent). Pre K should be easier.

I'm planning on homeschooling, and I wanted to get an early start. I wanted to go a Christian route, however, to learn the basics at such a young age, I didn't think it mattered if I got something that didn't have a Christian reputation.This book is absolutely wonderful. My little one is learning to trace and recognize letters and numbers, and is getting exposure to the alphabet, numbers, colours, and shapes. He has a really short attention span, so when the book suggests learn one letter a day, it works out perfectly. Plus we review all day long and before bed just to make sure he understands the concept.Highly recommended to those parents or teachers who want to introduce toddlers to the world of learning!

Wonderful workbook. Easy to understand, repetitive exercises. The kids (4 year old) love it. Good results for recognizing letters and numbers and associating lower and upper case letters.
