VERY impressed (coming from a pro videographer)
I work with professional gimbals & cameras on a regular basis, but when I needed something small and light to toss in a bag for play time with my kids, this gimbal came highly recommended - and it delivers. The build quality is quite high (you may see complaints about it being made out of plastic, but I don't see a problem with that - its very thick, strong plastic, with a rubberized grip in just the right place), it balances very easily, and stays that way even during heavy use (as in, chasing kids up and down playground equipment or down a sledding hill).Best feature: It sounds like such a simple thing, but the "trigger finger" button double-click to re-center is GENIUS.Worst feature: Turning while angling the gimbal up or down reaches limits pretty fast, causing the camera to snap to a different orientation suddenly. A bit of practice can correct for this, and someone not used to better equipment may not even notice it.I mostly use it in follow mode, and it does a great job of smoothing out walking shots, jogging shots, and following motion up and down. I use an iPhone X, and have had no problems with fit or balance. I have used the app a little (mostly just to update the firmware), but I wouldn't write any kind of review about that here (check out the reviews on the app store). It did connect flawlessly with my phone and work properly, which is nice.In short, if you need an inexpensive phone gimbal that actually works, you can't go wrong with this one!

Works well enough with iPhone 11 Pro Max
The media could not be loaded. I really like this gimbal and am glad I made the purchase. It takes the footage from my iPhone 11 Pro Max to the next level... no more shaky video. The gimbal itself is lightweight and easy to transport. Setup was straightforward and basically came down to attaching my phone and turning the gimbal on. With that said...I don't believe the gimbal is designed to support the size/weight of the new iPhone 11 Pro Max, but the gimbal can/will operate with the phone without any issues that I've noticed. Since the 11 Pro Max is fairly wide I have to adjust the phone holding portion of the gimbal to be a bit higher so it doesn't come into contact with the other gimbal arm as the phone moves. The phone won't fully balance for the initial setup, from what I've experienced, in landscape view but the gimbal does a great job compensating. There is a slight forward lean to the phone before powering on the gimbal but once the gimbal is turned on the phone will adjust to the correct position. I haven't noticed any overworking of the motors and the gimbal stays silent as I record. For the price of the gimbal I've been very happy with the results. The image is very stable, even while I skateboard along side my friends and record. The battery life of the gimbal lasts quite a while, as I've been using it for a few hours at a time without any issue or worry that it may die.The only modification I've made is to use a larger fold out stand since the one that comes with the gimbal is small so I am using a fold out stand with longer legs for more stability.Overall I am happy with the purchase. For the price, quality and image stability I think it's a great deal. I've recommended the gimbal to friends. Having the gimbal takes my footage to the next level.

Not great for a breezy day, but exceptional other times!
I've waited to write my review until I had fully tested it in all conditions. I've owned it for almost a year now. I use it with my LG G8X (single phone, will not work with dual screen). The phone fits perfectly with the case off. It doesn't quite balance with the Spigen phone case I use.Pros-Image stabilization!-I've tested it running, walking, and even standing still. It stays smooth and gets rid of a majority of the jitter you get when you take steps.Weight!-It is heavy enough to keep everything stable, but not so heavy that it wears your arm out if you film for hours on it! (And yes you can film for hours on a single charge!)Battery Life!-I've had it for almost a year and have charged it maybe 10 times. I use it between 30 minutes to 2 hours at a time, about every other week. It doesn't even take that long to charge either!Mounts!-The mini table top tripod is great for doing "talking head" videos. It is also great for a little extra hand holding space if you want to hold with both hands for added stability or security.-Having the standard tripod mount point on the bottom allows for using a mount bracket extension bar. I have my Neewer CM14 shotgun mic mounted on one side of the extension and the gimbal to the other. Then put the table tripod on the bottom for an excellent table/counter top setup for videos, or you can walk and talk with it!The app!-It has great tune-ability for the gimbal. You can adjust the speed it tilts and turns. You can invert the thumbstick to change the direction it moves when pressing it different ways. There are a few other settings that you can adjust as well, if you want to dive deep in and thoroughly investigate this thing!--CONS--The app-Yup! It is both a pro and a con!-The camera on the app is garbage. It might work for some people, but it lowers the quality quite a lot! While it does auto zooms to avoid seeing the gimbal in the corner of the image, my standard lens in my normal camera mode avoids it and has a lot better image. Having the tune-ability of the stock camera app for custom ISO, Exposure, Color correction, etc is far better than the hohem app.Not good for breezy/windy outside filming-The stabilizer moves itself to try and correct for the wind and ends turning itself all the way.------------Long story short, it is a great gimbal with amazing stabilization for far less than you'd pay for a DJI or other name brand! Would I recommend this to others? YES! I gave it 4 stars! It would have a 5 star if it weren't for the wind correcting and the terrible camera in the app!
