By far the best "short" reference for the inpatient Pediatrics
You'd only buy this handbook if you knew well what it offers. By far the best "short" reference for the inpatient Pediatrics. I'm a 4th year Medical Student applying for Pediatrics residency, and this book comes in handy when I need to know the bread & butter of ANY disease/disorder/drug, thus helping me contribute on par with the other medical residents on the team. It's also got online access, so you can view it on your phone/tablet/PC.

Love it
I love this book. I'm a family medicine intern and used during my pediatric rotation. Helpful for drug doses, as well as maintenance fluids, among many other things. It's nice and compact so i can put it in my backpack and keep it on my desk/workstation at the hospital. I don't wear a white coat but you could probably fit it in some of the pockets if you wanted, although it would be pretty heavy for that.

excellent condition for a fraction of the price.
Book is pretty much brand new minus a blemish on the back cover. Paid a fraction of the price and it came earlier than expected. Will buy from seller again!!!!!!

loved it 15 years ago , still love it today.
to be honest I usually buy the handbook for the formulary section, its the most comprehensive compact formulary you could have around in your office or in your pocket while doing your daily work. I still have not gone through the individual section but from what I have read so far, it is still the most useful "in a nut shell" handbook I use in my daily practice for my pediatrics patients.

The reference section could be easier to find by either color coding the edge of the pages or placing the section earlier in the book/ I paper clipped the section for ease of use.

The book we had in our office grew legs and walked away, it was a much older edition, but it still did the job. This one is nicer and all the info is up to date. This is a must have if you take care of kids.

Unfortunately, I did not need the book because my instructor did not clearly communicate that the edition I had purchased the term before was more updated than the edition the instructor listed as a requirement for the course. I will use this item to carry around in my clinical practice.

Great reference!
This book is the perfect reference for pediatric issues. I love it! It comes with a code so that you can enter it online and have access to the ebook on your iphone/ipad, making it even more convenient to carry around.
