This worked perfectly!
This is exactly what was needed to wire a dashcam into the autodim mirror power connector. No fuss/no muss, no splicing into the overhead console wiring, just pop the pins I to the back of the mirror power connector for + and -, and off you go!

Finally a 'mirror tap' for dash cams!
Have been looking for a 'mirror tap to usb' cable to be made forever to wire my a dash cam without hardwiring all the way to the fuse box and this is a game changer. The convenience and time saved from not having to remove trim panels and hide the wire to the fuse box is immense, not to mention not having to use a fuse tap and a 12v to 5v converter. The pins are narrow and may not stay in place on their own by friction as others have reviewed, but I just zip-tied (or electrical tape as preferred) the wires with the mirror's other wires. This is better than too-thick pins that cannot fit into the harness.

Much needed
Purchased 3 of these for my cars. Works perfect to connect my radar and dashcam to the mirror.

Works well however if you attach to a constant 12v source, IT WILL DRAIN YOUR BATTERY

It Worked
It would help if pinout listings were included or at least posted on the Dongar website but I managed to find what I needed on the internet. On my Ford F150 the rear view mirror connector has power on pin 1(+) green wire, and pin4(-) black wire, which are the only two wires on the lower row. It took some effort to push the cable wire pins into the back of the mirror connector, I used needle nose pilers to force then in until they made a connection. I could tell the connections were good when the camera would power up via the cable. The truck key had to be on for power to be available. But all in all installation was not too difficult and the dash cam is mounted and ready to use.

Solid choice to connect a dash cam cleanly and quickly
Wanted to get a review out there for this connector for those looking for options to power a dashcam from tapping a rear view mirror.Purchased an Apeman c450 cam and used this connector to tap the mirror power connector on a 2016 Toyota Sienna XLE.Had an initial issue with seating the ground tap (it wanted to keep backing out) but once zip tied in, the connection is solid.Over all a very clean, quick way to hook up a dash cam.

Did not work
I ordered this to wire a dash cam directly to my rear view mirror's accessory power. After lots of troubleshooting I realized the adapter itself wasn't working. Which is a shame because it's the only one that didn't come with tons of excess cable. In the end I had to discard this adapter and buy one with 10 ft of cable, ziptying all the excess cable behind the mirror once it was wired up. At least the long one worked.

camry 2020 works flawlessly with diagram
very good product and short cable, it worked right away on my dashcam. Even though it is expensive but I will buy again.step for the car, push the box behind the review down, there are 2 clips to push down from the inside, use youtube overhead removal.find that cable look for those pink/white in the picture, put it back test it first and it works.
