Highly recommend the Switchbot Hub Mini
We have had the Switchbot Hub Mini for a little while now and haven’t had any problems in the time we’ve had it. It integrates well with Alexa meaning we can use Alexa to control other Switchbot devices for example ask the temperature of different rooms in our house or she can control the ir controls (for example turning the tv on/off, usually part of a routine we have set or turning on the tv from another room giving the tv a chance to turn on etc). When we are not home we can check in on the app and see the temperature of different rooms in our house (the hub means you can see these things on the app when you’re not home) giving peace of mind when we are away and our house rabbit is being looked after that the room isn’t too hot/cold).It is easy to set up and add into the Switchbot app and also easy to set up ir controls for different products. Also handy that to power the Switchbot hub is a usb connection meaning it can be plugged into other devices that are always on to power it or into a usb adapter plug (which most people have now days). All in all I would definitely recommend buying one of these if you are thinking about buying any other Switchbot products or even just looking for an ir remote.

Very much an under-rated device.
This product is absolutely awesome. It is well built and allows the owner to situate it in several ways using a multitude of options to keep it in place. I have it sat upon a shelf, others may want it stuck to a wall or stuck on the underside of a table out of sight. It runs from a USB power source and is a plain white colour with an optional use of a small white LED to indicate usage, thusly, unintrusive when being used. For me, it's best feature is the ability to record other infra-red frequencies, meaning it can potentially be used to control ANY device that has an infra-red remote-controller, such as your television, satellite box, DVR, etc. By integrating with Alexa/Google Home/SmartThings/Home Assistant, you can just speak what you want using this, for example, "Alexa... switch on the lounge television. Alexa... open YouTube on the lounge television. Alexa... switch on the air-conditioner. Alexa... Switch off the kitchen lights. " etc.

Great Smart Home Upgrade
I got the SwitchBot Hub Mini, and it’s been a great addition for controlling my IR devices through my phone. Setup was quick, and the app is easy to use. However, while the support team was very eager to help, customer service still needs improvement.Overall, a solid smart home upgrade!

Capable little device!
High-quality device from a reputable German company! I had several SwitchBot temperature/humidity sensors for 1.5 years - used them in a couple of greenhouses for a while but this winter I put 3 of them into my beehives to monitor the health of the colonies during cold weather. To collect data 24x7, even when you are far away from the sensors, you will need this nifty mini-hub. It performed very well - no faults and reliable connection to the sensors in the garden at range 25-30 meters. I you want details about how to create custom daily graphs as well as Email alerts with a hub mini - go to GitHub and search for "hivemonitor" then select the repository called "drmuttik/hivemonitor". See an example graph. I very much recommend this capable little device!

Can control sky stream through Alexa and close our curtains
Bought this to allow us to control our smart bot curtains which it does.Noticed it could also control ir remotes so had a play setting it up with our sky stream which doesn’t connect to Alexa like our tv and was a bit annoying when we are trying to make all our house smart. So first had to turn infrared on. The remote is automatically set to use Bluetooth. Press 4 and 6 together for 10 seconds. The add remote to the hub by selecting the hub in switch bot app and selecting add remote control at the bottom. Then it found the remote but I had to add all the buttons manually which is a bit faffy but straight forward enough as none of the templates worked. The voice control would then turn the sky stream on and off via Alexa (which was already connected to the SwitchBot app) but nothing else.So in the switchbot app had to add each button as individual scenes (press the tiny cross at the top and add scene name the command then add action and select smart device, click the remote then the button you want) I named them simply “up” “down” as if I added the word sky before it then Alexa confused it with the power button so just turned it off. That’s because to action the scenes you have to tell Alexa to turn it on.So now I say “Alexa turn on up” and it presses the up button on the remote … or “Alexa turn on ok”It’s a long way around but if I can’t find the sky remote at least I can slowly get what I want to watch on. Or pause what I’m watching if I get caught up in another room for longer than the adverts (which I have to say Alexa turn on play for as the play pause button is the same one 🤷🏻♀️)Hope this helps anyone trying to get it to work for them

Great product with some issues
Was initially very impressed with the product and how easy it was to set up and use remote devices with. After a while I noticed that it would often go offline randomly and I would be unable to control my devices, sometimes happening a few times a day. The only thing that would fix it was turning it on and off at the wall when I needed to turn a device on (defeating the purpose of being able to control my devices from my phone). I contacted the company and they were helpful and sent a replacement. I am still having this issue with the new one but less frequently. Maybe once a week. The idea and execution of the product is amazing! I love it! This is the only issue and it can be very annoying when you’re just trying to turn a TV on from your phone, you find the device is ‘offline’ and you have to go and turn it off and back on at the wall. I hope this issue is fixed as I don’t think it’s a hardware issue as I’ve had two now. Great costumer service though.

Great product and recommend
I love the mini hub. This allows me to control my Dimple XL 74 fireplace and send out an IR signal to turn off and control the fireplace with my iPhone via the SwitchBot app. Mounts to the wall with 3M pad provided. Seems to support usb-A ports built into mk sockets.
