Love these belts. No chirp no squeal
This is the correct belt for the LT1 with AC and automatic. The other belts that are listed that are about .75 shorter will not fit. I tried. I marked it down one star since the photo is old. You most likely will receive a Conti labeled belt not the picture Goodyear (Conti makes the belts for GY) not too big a deal but the other gatorback I bought for my Dodge truck was a Gator. Amazon needs to update the pic is all.

Quiet, smooth operation (Continental Elite: formerly known as Goodyear Gatorback)
When Veyance Technologies (formerly known as Goodyear Engineered Products) was sold from Goodyear to Continental AG, the Goodyear Gatorback brand of drive belts was renamed Continental Elite. I have found that the Gatorback belts worked very well in my Ford -- even better than Motorcraft, and certainly superior to Dayco or any private label brand -- so I bought one of these for my 1996 Impala SS. Fits perfectly; runs quietly and smoothly. Belt is made in ContiTech's (formerly Veyance) Mexico facility.

Does not work with a 92 Corvette LT1
Looks like a good belt but Is not ribbed on both sides as is needed for a 1992 Corvette with a LT1.

It's nice to hear under my hood while driving again
My mechanic told me that my car was leaking oil on my belt and making it squeal. I put a new belt on myself and it squealed within a minute of putting it on. I bought one of these and put it on and it stopped making noise. It's nice to hear under my hood while driving again.

grip n' spin
had many belts from local big box stores and they were ok. they would all squeal when humid or when water splashed on them.(96 impala ss) and i would lose power steering for a bit. got this belt and the difference is very noticeable. first off it is quieter. didn't think it was loud. but no more whine. and i haven't lost power steering since i had the belt. i have even sprayed water on the belt and no slipping or loss of steering.

These are getting difficult to find, great product, I would recommend these as a great replacement for any application...

Smooth, quiet belt!
I installed this belt in my 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS and it is very quiet. So far it's been great! I changed my idler pulley at the same time with an ac delco one from amazon also. This belt looks well made and the ribbing is made different than just the regular belt making it run quiet. Very good product.

sounded like someone was slaughtering pigs
Belt was squeaking on a '95 Camaro Z28. Bought a new one, but went with a cheap one from a well known large Canadian corporation, and that squeaked too, sounded like someone was slaughtering pigs. Finally decided to pay the extra money for this Gatorback, and haven't heard a peep since. Been driving around with it for 2 weeks now. So yes, it's worth the extra money to just buy one belt and not have to worry about it for a few years!

All good
This will remain a 5 star rating as long as it lasts and works as it should.
