Super cute piece that my kids love
Super cute piece that my kids love! The little ejection set up for the trains doesn't work amazingly well but they don't seem to mind.

small shed at a great price
My son has been asking for a shed for his engines for months. All the name brand ones are way too large for our train setup and quite expensive. This shed is just large enough for two engines (though not the tenders of the larger engines) and doesn't take up our entire play area. It works perfectly with our other pieces and, unlike some other generic products, is not garishly colored. It was a big hit with the little guy, too.

Works as intended. Far less expensive than Thomas and works well with all of our existing Thomas

Tender engines won't fit...
For the price, this is a nice addition to any wooden railway. It has two working doors, a removable 2-to-1 track piece, and a "launching" system that will allow you to partially eject stored locomotives or rolling stock (versus fishing it out with your hand). The construction is solid, and the door hinges are spring-loaded posts that make removal and installation of the doors nice and easy. This does create the potential for an inadvertently removed door, but that's easy enough to fix. Overall, the doors stay put pretty well. The 'skylight' is also of nice quality and has not come out, even when my son flipped over the shed with engines inside. The portals in the side walls are not covered, which assists with fishing out stuck engines. The launch/ejection system consists of two hinged ramps that the engines will sit on, that are attached to respective levers on the roof with string. Pushing down on the raised portion of the lever will pull up the string, and thus one end of the ramp, causing the engine to roll towards the door. The system works, but it does not provide that much motion (the upward range of motion on the ramp is very small), thus a firm press of the lever helps out. My son does get a kick out of it, however, when I close the doors with an engine inside, and press the lever to make the engine pop out through the door. There are two reasons I knocked off a star: 1) the limited function of the ramps, and 2) the shed is not long enough for a tender engine. We have James, and he sticks out the door when backed in as far as he can go.

This is super cute! There are buttons you can push in the back to lift the trains so they roll out and the doors open.

Compressed cardboard base splits apart
The base of the shed is not wood. When my toddlers pulled the connecting rail out, the compressed cardboard started pulling apart. I tried to try to glue the layers back together, but it was in vain. The shortcuts taken to save a buck make this product worth only one star. Think about it Maxim, the most easily damaged part of the shed would be the base, so why go cheap?Additional failings:- One of the dowels holding the top push pieces came out and had to be glued back to hold it in place.- The doors do not stay on well. We have removed them.

ちょっとものたりない、、、
着いた時点でドアが外れ、傷もありました。少し使っただけで、木がかけました。車両が2列入り、屋根のカラクリを動かすと、床が斜めに上がり車両が少し前に出てきます。
