Stardust: Magic in the Air

I have a problem with suitable reading material for my daughter (who had these books when she was 6 and is now 7) as she has a high reading age but gets upset and frightened easily by scary or adult themed stories. She absolutely gobbled up the Stardust books and has read and re-read them along with the Secret Unicorn books by the same author. They aren't really complicated enough to stretch her reading abilities but I quite like the subject matter which is appropriate to the age group, exciting and imaginative and has a gentle ecological message.
