Pacific Giftware Realist Look Rattle Snake Resin Figurine Statue

Awesome piece!!!

The media could not be loaded.  Got this as a way to deter birds in our front porch. We moved it outside by our front door and it matches so well in our desert home. We’ve managed to scare our entire family and a couple of neighborhood friends. We may have to move it, due to possibly scaring mail delivery personnel. The soft rubber-like tongue is a nice added touch to make the entire product look realistic. I love it!!

Hi, I normally don't write reviews but, I felt I had to in this case. I was looking for a realistic Rattler Statue and purchased a less expensive version a while back. Needless to say, it ended up in the trash. I decided to spend a little extra money and try this version from Pacific Giftware. I was very pleasantly surprised on the incredible detail and the color/pattern was right on! Just so you know, the Tongue in made of rubber....nice touch. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and I hope this review helps you in your decision....you will be pleased!

The craftsmanship is very good and it's very well rendered. But.....as I mentioned in the title, it's a lot smaller than the stated dimensions. Would be a solid five stars if it was actually as tall as the listing states. Haven't decided if I'll return it or not yet. They're either being intentionally deceptive or someone at Ebros Gift REALLY doesn't know how to read a tape measure. Such a shame.Update: contacted the company about the inaccurate dimensions and the gave me a 40% discount. I bought it as a photography prop and it's worked well for my uses. I see they have not changed the misleading dimensions, however.

Great color and detail. Looks realistic. Almost gave my grandson a heart attack.

This was a really nice piece for the price. Not a big snake but good sized. Very well packaged and shipping time was fast. Really happy with my purchase.

This rattlesnake statue looks amazing in my cactus garden.

As another reviewer stated, this statue is much shorter than advertised. Although well-executed overall, the painter omitted the four black and white stripes at the tail before the first rattle. These snakes vary widely in color and sharpness of the diamond-shaped markings on the back, but all have those four black and white stripes at the very end of the tail before the first rattle. I have a Michael Carr designs version (available here on Amazon for less money than this one), and it has those defining stripes. I deducted a star for the missing stripes and another for the deceptive advertising. Admittedly, most of your friends (and all of your backyard critters) won't ever notice those missing stripes; however, it would be nice to know that the artist did the necessary research to get such a defining feature correct. I'll keep mine because what the hell, it's just a little garden feature, not a museum piece. But those missing stripes will bug me for awhile. It's just the way I'm built. Still a very realistic snake.
