Use your Dryer outlet for other 220 Volt devices
Used this to plug in a new 220 V (Level II) EV charger into my clothes dryer outlet. Now that I know everything works I'll get a permanent outlet in the garage, but this allowed a quick and easy trial run.

Works exactly as expected
This adapter appears to be solidly made, and works exactly as expected. I'm able to connect a tool that uses a 6-15 cord to a 14-30 outlet. In my use, the adapter does not get hot.
