Original Chippewa Collection Men's 4 Inch Plain Toe Oxford

I have been a redwing lover for years, and this is the first time to try Chippewa shoes!This is a great pair of shoes that fit on daily basis.Compared with Redwing shoes I have, fit is slightly large, and quality is much better than I thought!I usually wear 9E (Redwing), but this pair of shoes is 8.5D.

Chippewa makes nice boots and shoes, meaning high quality materials. The only question becomes one of fit, does it properly cradle your fit. In evaluating the sizing my thoughts are the widths are very standard, maybe just a touch wider than normal but not enough to size down. the length becomes the biggest issue for my foot. The shoe runs a 'little' long, but not a full half size, so you have to experiment somewhat. Otherwise, the value and look of these shoes is excellent.

Vibram soles are terrifc on hard surfaces like concrete or tile floors. Shoes look great with casual wear. Even added a pair of Chip boots while they were on sale for Presidents' Day. This company could be doing so much better if properly managed. Would like to see more choices with widths and colors. Really enjoy wearing these shoes.

I'm a big fan of american made products, Red Wing, Frye, Whites Boots, are all great brands and I have boots/shoes from each of those companies. This pair of Chippewa Collection oxford shoes is by far the most comfortable and the sizing was spot on based on the Chippewa sizing guide. I'm very happy with the quality and craftsmanship of the shoes.

First these look great ! Really comfortable out of the box and best of all made in America .

Great quality shoes but they about a half size too large.

Fit well, look great. There was a little flash sticking up where the tounge meets the shoe upper one one shoe. That was the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.
