Powerful heat pack that generates long lasting heat
Like the 80g heat pack that comes with the cooker, so I purchase more of their 10-pack. Each packet is identical to original heat pack, which is large at 80g and generates a great amount of heat and keep the food warm for at least 20 minutes. The heat pack leaves no residue in the water after reactivation which makes the food safe to eat. Foil wrapper makes it safe to carry and travel.

I Keep Them For Emergency Use
These heaters work, but the buyer should know that they are designed to be meal warmers only. They do a good job of heating leftovers or a can of soup or warming water enough for a cup of coffee or tea. That sort of thing. They will not cook raw meat thoroughly, and they won't bring water to a rolling boil. With that in mind, go for it. Handy to have on hand during a power outage. Can be used in a zip lock freezer bag.

Great for No-Flame Cooking
When used with the Yabul cooker, these heating packs are the best way to prepare MRE meals, reconstituted freeze dried food and almost anything else that needs to be heated without using a flame.
