The highest altitudes of Tarrazu are over 3,900 feet, and these regions give rise to coveted “strictly hard beans,” or SHB. These are the highest quality beans that Costa Rica has to offer. The volcanic soil of the coffee bean growing district of Tarrazu gives these beans a bright acidity. The coffee has fruity suggestions of apricot, berries and citrus. As you drink it, you will detect a honey-like like aftertaste with hints of chocolate, spices and malt.

Great Quality Coffee
I bought this to roast for my family as christmas presents. I usually order off of sweetmarias.com, however, I needed them quickly so I ordered them off of Amazon with my prime account. This bean tastes great as a medium roast. My family absolutely loved it and keep asking for more. I have already ordered another one so that I could roast it for them. I would recommend this to anyone wanting an easy bean to roast with high quality.Just a little background, I have been roasting coffee for the last 5 years through the Behmore Coffee roaster.

Arrived on time and as described. This is the second time I've ordered these beans and could not be more pleased. I tried a couple of green coffee beans because these were out of stock when I needed a refill, and was not as happy with them. These were a few cents more a pound, 19¢ - 50¢ to be exact, but they are worth that and more.

Great Cup of JoeThis was a great bean for home roasting. We received the package not long ago and roasted a couple of pounds. I was able to taste the earthy undertones with the light acidity. We look forward to many mornings of enjoying this coffee and sharing this experience with our friends.

Great value, at 10 lbs
These beans have a really smooth flavor, strong caffeine kick. I roast them in my aircrazy popcorn popper at about 6 minutes per handful to a medium roast. Great value, at 10 lbs, its nice to not run out of coffee!

Very promptly delivered and what I consider to be one of the best deals for raw coffee today. I'm still experimenting with the different roasts but I'm overall extremely pleased with this product and how quickly it arrived.

Good price, good taste
Great flavor after we roasted this. Very good price. There was a large amount of chaff(Like peanut skins) that had to be blown off with fans, so roast outside if possible.

Great coffee once roasted, but sure stinks while roasting with a popcorn popper. But it taste great afterwards...
