So much better than average!
No pre-soak. Just cook. I was very skeptical as I cook lots of beans. Perfect! Tender. Tasty. If these are not available in your local grocery, order some! I’ve always used what my grocer had on shelves. Generic beans. Soaked overnight and cooked. With virus, I did not want to go to store for beans so I ordered these. Wow! I’m a convert. When Corona is a bad memory, I’ll still order these. Check YouTube for red beans and rice. Everyone uses these. Now I know why.

The freshest best quality ever!
These are what fresh kidney beans are supposed to be. My best friend grew up in the Mediterranean where everything is grown fresh and sold after picked! He says it’s like being back home! Will buy until they don’t have any more!

Best Kidney Bean Available
They are sweet, hold their form well and they bring back the taste of what the kidney bean used to be like. I'm a bear freak...expert, frankly (so say they all) and THIS is the kidney bean to buy. Check out the price it is also in the bargain market range.

Best Red Beans you can buy
Been buying these things for years but when i moved away from the south east and to the north east they were no longer carried by the grocers up there. I know a bean is a bean, and for the most part that is right but, these are simply a higher quality build. Maintain their skins and don't cook apart nearly as easily as the standard generic red kidney.

Best beans for red beans and rice
Camilla beans are pretty much the only beans Louisiana cooks use for red beans and rice.

Pricey Purchase but darn they are good!
Got these when beans were harder to find because we’ve bought them for years and love them! Good for hot or cold dishes, can’t beat them for red beans and rice. Excellent flavor and value

Perfect for all my NOLA recipes
I used to live in New Orleans, and do a lot of cooking. If you've ever had real red beans and rice, you know there is no substitute for Camellia's red beans. Now that I don't live in the city (or anywhere close), I can't just run to the store and get them. This four-pack is perfect, so I always have them on hand for when the mood strikes.

Best red beans ever!
I am from New Orleans and Camelia red beans was the only brand that anyone used. I practically grew up on delicious red beans and rice my mother fixed regularly. I recently made a big pot of red beans and rice and used Camelia red beans i ordered on Amazon. They are inexpensive and DELICIOUS. You can't go wrong with Camelia red beans!!
