These ice cube trays with lids are perfect for putting leftover purées in when beginning to wean your baby. The silicon bottoms make the easy to pop out so you can defrost them and the lids mean they are easy to store in freezer and stack them.

Used for homemade puréed baby foods. They work well but can be tricky to clean

Pretty standard size. The lids mean that they can be stacked even before being frozen. The lids can be a bit fiddley to get off, could do with a tab but less of an issue once content frozen. The easy release part of it is flexible enough that you can poke out the exact cubes you want.

I should have look closer at the spec’s. Produces smaller ice than a regular ice cube tray.

Having an under the counter fridge freezer those ice cube blocks really saved me! Easy to use, easy to fill, easy to remove

I suggest to poor a bit of warm water from the tap before attempting to push ice cubes out for easier use

To remove frozen stuff either leave the tray out for 3-5 mins or turn the tray over and run cold water for a few seconds at the back of the tray to loosen the ice at the bottom. Then hold the flipped tray over a container. Using thumbs press on the silicon bottom to remove ice cube/frozen material into the container. When frozen the cover does not fit back. i use a rubber band to hold it in place. it still leaves a gap.
