Good area of coverage and good selection of modes of use.
Happy to say these work a treat.Got to admit, without reading the instructions first, the initial use did have me as you have to press and hold the power button for a few seconds before they jump into action. Once on, changing between the 3 modes is as simple as pressing the power button. What I do like with the mode changing is that the LEDs will flash a couple of times to indicate the change too. Not seen this before, or at least acknowledged it if they did but good to have instead of the usual guessing games.Bought to install in the communal pathway around the back of the garden. No public really venture that way so will be safe, where they are installed, from any light fingers. The design aids to the area of light coverage which was what I had hoped for.The light path is good, and so are the 3 modes of operation: 1) Full power on and the fully off when the sensor picks up something 2) low-level light upon sensing then fully off again 3) permanent low-level light. Great choice of modes to prevent light flooding and annoyance to nearby neighbours yet provide plenty of coverage in the areas of use.Batteries seem to last well throughout the night and into the morning. Come the shorter days of light, I will do as I always do with all my solar lights, and turn off the power for one day a week and allow a good period of uninterrupted charging. This I find gives me perfect power even in the winter periods.Bang for bucks? Well worth it.

Do Not Work.
Unfortunately, neither light worked after 24 hours fixed to an external wall with good sunlight. Avoid.

Solar lamp that makes its taff
Outdoor solar lamp that is easy to install and works perfectly well. The leaflet is not very explanatory. In summary there are four lights with the stop that alternates with each push on the button. Too bad there is not an option where we have a strong fixed lighting and not average.

Easy to install
Wanted some lights to light up side of the house. These were easy to install, and despite the weather in January they managed to absorb enough sunlight to work when needed. Only problem is that the screws provided have gone rusty after a fortnight.Just don't forget to switch them on.

Brilliant!!!!
A little sceptical given some of the mixed reviews but after delivery this morning, I left them out of the box to get the smallest bits of sunshine on this very cloudy day and they are fantastic!! Very happy with them

Just what I needed
These lamps worked the day they were fitted to our gate posts even though the weather was overcast. The amount of light thrown out by these small units gives perfect coverage across our drive and do exactly what I wanted. A satisfied customer.
