I bought the FUNAN Hair Finishing Stick to tame my wavy, frizzy hair, and now it’s basically the MVP of my bathroom shelf—when it’s actually on the shelf. Spoiler alert: it’s not. My 11-year-old daughter has officially claimed it as her “holy grail” hair product and now guards it like a dragon with a treasure hoard.This stuff holds like a dream. It smooths down those stubborn flyaways without making your hair look like you lost a fight with a vat of grease. I’ve used it for ponytails, buns, and even that desperate mom bun you throw up on the way to school drop-off. It always delivers. No crunch, no flakes, no “did you dip your head in butter?” look.If you’ve got wild hair and a tween with opinions, you might want to buy two. Or three. One for the purse, one for home, and one to mysteriously disappear into your child’s backpack.

My daughter has crazy hair and these are the BEST for slicking her hair into ponytails! The solution itself is not sticky and also does not have a strong smell which I appreciate. We use this basically everyday and it holds up everyday even through nap time. I recommend this product to all of my fellow girl moms because it’s that good!

This product worked great! BUT…. Removed a star because there was hardly any product in the package. I’m not sure if it had evaporated over time and it was just old…. Or maybe it had been returned and restocked. Will look elsewhere in stores where I can see if it is full before I purchase.

This is way better than I thought it was going to be. It was pretty cheap, so my expectations were not very high. I have a lot of small baby hairs that I have to gel down every morning no matter how I style my hair or they are sticking up all over the place. Most gels make your hair look hard and crunchy while others make your hair look greasy and unwashed. This product does not do either of those things. This product does not look like you have anything in your hair and it keeps all the hairs down and in place. It does not make your hair sticky, hard, or crunchy. It goes on easy with the wand. I think the only drawback would be if you had to keep down a large area of hair. It would take quite a while to do it all with this little wand. It is great for small sections like your part line. However, when I put my hair up in a ponytail. I usually have to gel all around my entire head so I don’t have flyaways everywhere. I gel the top and the sides and the bottom. That is too much surface area for the small wand and would take forever. I usually use this just when I wear my hair down and I only need to do my part line. It is perfect for that. You don’t need to use very much so it seems to last a very long time. I’ve had this container for a couple of months and use it daily and still feel like there’s a lot left in it. Because of the small size it would be handy to keep in your purse and works well when you travel. Also, when you travel, I think you can get away with it not counting as a liquid. When I put my gel into a container. I always have to count that as a liquid in my little Ziploc bag, when using only a carry-on. Last time I flew, they let me get away with this in my purse and I had no issues. This is a handy little project. I’m glad I took a chance on trying out. I will always make sure I have a tube or two.

I really wanted to love these sticks, but there is a problem. I’ll start with the pros: it’s easy to apply, works pretty much right away, and does keep your hair down for an extended period of time. However, the problem is after quite a few hours the solution kind of dries up and then there’s white residue left on your hair. I don’t know if there’s something wrong with the tubes that I got but, both of them do this, so I feel like it’s a problem with the product. If you’re OK with washing the white residue out of your hair at night time when you use it, then this will be OK.

works as intended! i used it for a couple days and it doesnt really feel sticky, and its made my hair look less frizzy at the top. easy to use and i dont think it has much of a scent. overall nice and cheap

I have a lot of hair breakage from bleaching my hair. This is a complete game changer. Flattens my flyaways and is undetectable. Not damaging to the hair either. A holy grail product!

Love this so much. It doesn’t leave your hair crunchy, it has amazing hold, and you can’t tell that you have product in your hair for flyaways.
