This Mac charger works great for macbook and air that at 61 W or less. I also tried it on other laptops and they also work to charge those laptops but those may vary on how fast they charge as they operate on different wattages. For my HP laptop that I use for work, it works perfectly fine without much issue. The first thing you will notice about it is that it is the same size as your traditional mac charging brick that is 61 watt. In terms of weight. I do feel like this one a little heavier but nothing that I will say is too noticeable. Another thing is that the cable is integrated into the charger so you cannot change the cable if it ever becomes damaged or frayed. It does not come with with any extending removal piece like the original Mac charger would have. The cable is comes with is the same length you would get for Mac so you pretty much can use this as your home charger or the one you take on the go. I would recommend being careful not to bend the ends too much when tying it up because you could fray the neck eventually. That being said, I would not recommend using this to charge anything but your Mac or laptop. I do not recommend using this to charge your phone or your switch as the higher power may damage the device. I am not an electrician, but I have heard stories about people damaging their switch. That being said this works pretty well for a macbook charger. It does get a bit warm due to all the power being put through it but nothing dangerous from what I can tell. Another thing I will say about this products on the big side in terms of length and width so it could take up more than one spot on a surge protector so be aware of that. The charging time on a Mac is about the same as the original Mac charger but be aware charging time varies if you are using the device while it is charging. The white design does get dirty and yellowing easily so do not leave this in direct sunlight. Overall this is a good charger to have. It can replace your current mac charger or be an extra charger that you take on the go if you wanted to. It comes with cable tie that is connected to the charging cable that you can use to tie up the cable so it does not get tangled in your bag.
