Tp-Link Archer C7 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router [Ac1750)

Easy setup using mobile app. Good WiFi speed and quality.

I don't have experience with many routers, I'm judging this based on my previous router (D-Link DIR-850L)Set up was troublesome but that's not the router's fault. TP-Link actually provides clear instructions and an easy to use app to help with the set up. The problem was the ISP here (Etisalat) who require additional settings to get the router to work with their modem. Don't count on etisalat to help you, they don't know anything, I've called them multiple times with no luck. On the last call they told me that the router isn't supported by etisalat and that it will never work. TP-Link customer support is who you should call! They helped me fix it and get it running from the first call.My experience so far has been really good with solid connection, great range, and nice security features through the app. I've done alot of research before buying this router and the general consensus was that this is the best router at this price range and I truly agree!

Good product for its price

This is the Archer C7 v5 which is the latest iteration of TP-Link’s legendary AC1750 router. Very easy setup as either a router or an access point and with 2 networks either 2.4Ghz and/or 5Ghz. Super high speed on either network but obviously 5Ghz is higher. Interestingly devices connected to either network can interact with each other which is a major plus. Highly recommended for being able to get such high end router specs for this price.

Works well and excellent range. The settings are a bit difficult but you can easily get support over the phone directly from tp-link. Some reddit posts also helped me so never had to call them in my case.

The range is quite poor and not up to standards. I keep the router in the hall and unable to access internet even in the bedroom. Given this is Dual Band, even the slower band is not accessible if you are not in the same room. I had a simple router with a range extender earlier - this is no better or worse comparatively.

Really happy with the Router performance.I was using a basic router almost 5 year old which gave me 25mbps connection.Now after the upgrade with TP link Archer C7, I get full 50 Mbps speed. (In a medium sized 2 BHK all rooms)The TP link technical support was fantastic.I was facing issues in the beginning to setup internet. But when I called TP link customer care, they guided me correctly and I had to reset Etisalat internet password and now it works well.Great product. Surely recommend it.
