Item delivered within 24hrs - I like to think I'm computer savvy so i didn't bother reading instructions , Easy setup but annoying to have to sign-up to sites, but if you want to register products it's essential.I'm running from my PC optical out into the iD14's ADAT Optics & balanced outs into a set of Focal CMS 50's or Sennhesier HD660s & I'm quite taken back by the sound.This unit is a prelude to the RME ADI-2 Pro FS R Black Edition which I've wanted for over a decade.This unit has many options for inputs & Outputs resulting in a wide dynamic depending on your system setup.Unit is a sturdy little tank with Metal housing & dials - Very impressed , at the time of writing I purchased for £177 which represents fantastic value for money.Recommended 10/10 - I did copious research before purchasingUA VoltSSL 2were the other options but the optical in swayed me.side note : To hear sound remember . . . Turn the volume up 🤦🏽‍♂️ 🤣

Replacing my old RME Babyface after an iMac upgrade, I almost went for a much more expensive option. After reading the reviews, I thought I'd avoid the expensive cables etc. sometimes involved with all that, and go for this Audient iD14 , as it seems easy to set up and use. So it is, but the surprising thing is the sound quality, which is really excellent, and the controls, which are simply laid out and have nothing you don't need. No latency the I can discern when recording, and it came with the connecting cable! It feels and looks more expensive than its price point, I think it is a bargain, and have no negatives about it. The on-screen interface is a doddle, too. 100 percent recommended.

Had this for a week so far- originally as a test replacement for what I thought was a failing Scarlett 2i2 ( I suspect it actually is ) but decided to keep it as it is an audio upgrade, at least.The good: sound is excellent. Control software is reasonably flexible ( there's a lot of routing options ). Seems well built.Less good: the layout is not something I'm enjoying; having the XLR inputs on the opposite side of the box to the headphone jack is making using my headset ( my primary use ) a little awkward, and having the controls on top is also awkward for my work area - I'd take one with front jacks & controls in a heartbeat. I haven't yet found a way to monitor a source directly from the box itself but that could just be me not having found the right option. The sample rate for SPDIF in doesn't seem to want to hold it's setting. The product could be better documented!It doesn't come with a USB A->C cable, so if you want to jack it in the back of a PC or a smaller device that doesn't have a USB-C port then make sure you get one.My 2i2 was gen 2 so probably not a fair comparison ( especially given the price ) so I'm not really experienced with the competition ( a friend tried a Motu M2 & found the monitoring options much better suited to his studio - I spend most of my time talking so I'm less concerned ) but I have no regrets so far.

One of the best audio interfaces from the plethora of available ones. This has loopback (allows you to record directly from your PC/Mac into your DAW) which any home studio should have on its audio interface. The preamps are quiet and good quality. Focusrite dont even have loopback on their Scarlet 3 2i2 interfaces.

I bought his unit in November 2023 and I have had nothing but problems with sound glitches and stuttering. I've tried everything that I know of with changing settings in Windows, stopping anti-virus, disconnecting from the internet, disabling ad blocker. Nothing has worked. I contacted Audient to see if they had a solution and at first I was communicating with a guy called Tom Hazel and we went through a number of scenarios and system reports. It's been almost two weeks now and I've heard nothing from Audient, even though I have emailed Tom regarding the detailed reports, which he requested and I sent to him. The unit is sitting on my desk, totally unusable and I am very disappointed with Audient. It feels like I have thrown away the best part of £200.00 for nothing.

I did loads of research and looked at all main players in this field, and finaly decided to take the plunge.I was concerned with buggy downloads bad latency and fear of turning creative projects into digital fustrations...I didnt experience any if that.This makes everything fall into place.Its intuitive .for me so far doing everything i need very simply and very well.Its quiet great quality and helps set up an easy flow for enjoyable creation.Its well made .i was a bitworried about its desktop layout but its not too bad once your used to it.i havent used scrollwheel function and having an adat connection allows more inputs and more flexability.Coupled with good support in this price range its recomended. sound quality is pleasing.Im using a mac and with just a wee niggle installing firmware was remedied quickly.Best interface for the money

Great Unit for professional audio, cubase I don't like as much as Studio One but the unit itself is great sounding has loud output to the headphones, 10db boost on input is nice for single coil guitar or bass.I had to re tightent the small torx screw holding on one of the buttons as it came off, also it's a bit of a faff downloading some of the plugins otherwise it would be a 5 star review.

I was recommended to buy this by a friend. It doesn't disappoint. It's a lovely piece of kit, very decent quality and really good value for money for what it is.
