I bought this desk during COVID for a home office. It was excellent at first. It was sturdy, but light weight and had a very elegant design. It did exactly what I wanted and I was very happy. However, around the 1-year mark, the handles stopped working and I can no longer raise and lower it. I tried everything from taking it apart, cleaning the inside, and tightening everything to no avail. I tried contacting their support team, but I haven't gotten an adequate response on how to resolve this.

Here's the deal. I needed to be able to work in a small office that already had two desks in it. I wanted something that could stand most of the time and sit when I got tired. I didn't want to have a large footprint in the office. So, I ordered this and a monitor arm -- so the monitor stand wouldn't take up room on the desk. This was an absolute boon. The two mixed together are a perfect pair. And the desk goes up and down just fine. You have to apply a lot of pressure when you're pushing down -- like, I practically laid on the desk and pushed down. But it worked. And it's an inexpensive, elegant solution for a small space.Here are some things you already know if you're thinking:1. No, it's not perfectly stable. It wobbles a bit. As long as you're not pounding on your keyboard, you don't notice any wobbling while you're working. Only when you move things around or roll the desk while it's standing.2. Don't front-load it. Keep the weight toward the back of the desk -- like if you order the monitor arm, attach it to the back of the desk and push the desk against the wall. Badda bing, you're set.The directions for putting it together and the materials were perfect. It was very easy.

I can no longer use this as a standing desk as it does not hold it slowly lowers very upset. It also is very wobbly whey you type etc.

I placed the order for the Expresso Top and when I received the desk from Jesper, it was white top. When I called jesper to inquire they indicated that the product number ordered was their white top. Once I put that number back in on Amazon site it did indicate that it was white. So Amazon, you need to figure out your description and the associated product number. If someone (like me) orders Expresso that is the color they want and not white.

I love this desk! It's a great design and the quality of materials is impressive, especially for the price. I'm able to fit a monitor, keyboard, mouse, laptop and speaker comfortably—this is a great sized desk if you have a small office/work space. It was easy to put together (not more difficult than anything you would get from Ikea). And if you assemble it correctly, the adjustability function works smoothly. I read other reviews that mentioned that the desk was hard to readjust once it was put together, but I suspect the lever might not have been installed correctly. This is a great price point for a standing desk that easily converts back to a sitting desk if you don't want to stand all the time.

Very confusing and difficult to assemble - customer service was very helpful but why should I have to bother calling if the instructions were detailed enough to make it easy?

desk was exactly as presented. Very easy to put together. Very happy with the product

A piston broke after three days of use. I just sent it back and am nervous about trying it again. Was a nice size and color though
