Cat Door
Works as described. Although there were no directions in the package, except in German, it was easy to install. The door locks easily. It does not stay in an open position. I had to tape the door up initially until my cat learned to use it. It also looks nice in the door. Great for the price. After having my cat door for just under one year, the plastic flap cracked completely in half from top to bottom leaving sharp edges. It was impossible to repair. After contacting Lifepul and sending requested pictures, they immediately responded and sent me a replacement. Their customer service was wonderful and after my experience, can highly recommend this company.

Cats all folks
The Cat Flap from Lifepul works great for the fury members of the family. If you live in an apartment this is a great addition to keep the litter box (and the smell) from getting in the way of your daily activities. I installed this on a hollow core interior door that can be purchased at any local hardware store ($38). The cost of my project was a mere $58, I would have gladly paid 10x that to reap the benefits this solution provided me with. Now my cats have their own private bathroom and I don't have to deal with any unpleasant consequences of owning cats in an apartment. Highly recommend. When my cat flap arrived the door was snapped at the hinges, Lifepul sent me out a replacement quickly and saved the day. All in all this project only took about two hours from cutting to mounting. The directions are awful, but hey if you can't figure out how to mount it you probably shouldn't be cutting into a door in the first place. 5/5 would buy again.

It still works fine and the door does not stick
I have purchased two of these doors at separate occasions. The first door came with the door warped a little. It still works fine and the door does not stick. The second door purchased looked flawless but the door stuck open. I figured out the cause of it and fixed it. There is a molded seem in the frame above where the door swings. If your careful you can trim that seem a little more flush or sand it if you don't care about the scratches. I shaved mine with a sharp knife and the door does not stick no more. The screws are pretty cheap but they worked in solid wood. I'll probably replace them in the future. I'm using these doors in a two story feral cat house i'm building. Both doors are for in and out purposes but the second one in case they have to escape from something while inside. I would purchase again.

not the best
this door is mehh. it was cheap, and cheap is cheap..the installation instructions weren't as clear as they could be..overly simplified i think. iv'e installed other cat doors and this process was just a tad disappointing. normally they come with a cut out template to ensure clean and easy cut process. yes, all i had to to was trace the larger half of the door so it was do-able but id prefer a paper template to avoid errors.also once installed, i tried to get my cat to use the door and poor thing, the door only swings freely in one direction... my cat was not a fan.. (He has successfully used other cat doors, but this one was not his favorite) the little locks were also hard to move with fingers. the grooves/grips to help you move it are shallow and i had to use my nails to move into the lock position. if i had any dexterity issues this would be really frustrating and difficult. It's difficult enough if your'e feeling slightly lazy.i will be going to a hardware store in a few days and purchasing a different cat door that i know has a more reliable door.one thing i thought was pretty nice about this door verses some other doors is how clear the view is through the plastic. that way your pet can see what is outside before it pokes its head out!will not use, and would not buy again. cannot recommend.

Locks stick, flap sticks open...don't waste your money
Update. Lowering this from two stars to one star. My cats broke the second one maybe a month after I replaced it. The plastic is very flimsy. My 10 pound cat leaps through it, and somehow the plastic door cracks. This time, the little tab that fits the door into its frame also cracked. Very, very annoying! So, I found a company that makes cat flaps in wood or Plexiglas, so they fit in your window. First, I'll say my cats LOVE their window flap. They can go in and out onto my screened porch. However, I wish the company that created those used a different flap than this one. I'm sure they buy them because they're inexpensive and that's probably the problem. So when I first received my Plexiglas window insert, I was thrilled. The cats could go in and out and in and out. But because of the way the flap is built, the little locks on the bottom can get pushed (by the cats) to where it's locked. One of my cats was chasing the other, and he tried to run through, and wham! His poor little head hit it at full speed when it was accidentally locked and the thing shattered. So I contacted the company that makes the Plexiglas inserts (using these flaps) and they gave me the link to where I could purchase another one of these and reinstall it into my Plexiglas. It wasn't easy, but I was able to put a new flap in. However, it has the same problem. It locks inadvertently and I'm afraid it's going to shatter again (not to mention hurt my cat if he hits it while it's locked going full speed). But also, it sticks open. I have a larger cat, and when she goes through, the flap sticks open, which defeats the purpose of keeping the weather out. I was told to lubricate it to prevent that, but no amount of lubrication is stopping it. I think if this one breaks I'll try a different brand of the same size, and hopefully it'll fit into the Plexiglas window insert just fine.

Great option for the indoor outdoor cat.
So I have a cat or should I say a cat owns me. He is very demanding he wants inside and outside inside than outside. It's a bit of a pain however it allows us to not have to have a litter box in the house. With this awesome cat door however he is free to come and go as he wants and if we don't want him in the house say if were going to be gone for the weekend we can lock that portion of it and he can't come in.It didn't take him very long at all to get used to using it once we showed it to him put him out through it a couple times brought him back in through it a couple times he warmed up to it right away.
