easy to use
These are one of the best tie down straps I have used. It is so easy to adjust the tension. the hooks are the perfect size for the kayak. The ratchet tightens easily with just a pull on the cord. I haven't had them long enough to know about the durability but for the intended use, they look great.

Plastic Rubbish. Not safe for canoe on roof.
Certainly would not feel safe with these plastic sided pulley systems holding a canoe on a roof rack! Dissapointed

love these straps
i am currently using them to keep a cover tied down on my sports car but the point is they hold the thing in place and has not loosened up. I am really looking forward to using them on my kayaks in the spring as they are so easy to use

Work great, easy to use, nice quality
These are so easy to use. I bought 1 set then ended up buying a second set because I was so happy with the quality. I transported my kayak 3,000 miles at highway speeds and on dirt roads using these. Two to the hood of my vehicle, two to the hatchback. Used in combination with hood anchor straps. Just wrap the excess cord around the taunt cord to prevent annoying flapping in the wind. Easy to check an tighten if need when you stop for gas.
