I don’t know, as I used it on a PS1. But once it reached it’s limit of storage, it would reset & lose everything that was saved.

It did for me. I use it on my PS1 and both the Fat PS2 and the slim. Havent had any issues so far, but definitely format it on a ps1 console if you have one still. If not be sure to have a PS1 game in the drive of the PS2 and format from the save game option.

Yes it does, but only if you’re using your ps2 to play a ps1 game as the memory card is made to hold ps1 data only.
