Great item
Works well overall. The picture quality was not as nice as my anker, so I opted not to use for my everyday, because the difference was noticeable. However it was not enough to send back and I will be able to use a backup. It seems to be quite durable. It's is about the same width and length as my anker, but is thicker. Again, solid product, it is always great to have more than one cord, plus, adapter or "dongle."

Simple and Easy
Worked as required. Needed additional ports so I could add monitors to have a 3 monitor display (laptop + 2 externals). However, I noticed that now I need to unplug it from the laptop when I use Google Meet on the laptop (camera is on laptop, not on external monitor) because if I don't the sound during the meeting does not work and the mute can not be disabled.

Nice alternative to docking station
Works great nice and compact. Once the driver was downloaded worked without issues on Mac. Nice alternative to a docking station.

Stopped working after a few months — hoping for support
bought this Wavlink DisplayLink adapter to connect a third monitor to my MacBook, and it worked great for a while. Unfortunately, after a few months of normal use, it stopped outputting video.I’ve followed every troubleshooting step — reinstalled the latest DisplayLink Manager, checked all macOS permissions, swapped HDMI cables and monitors, and even tested the adapter on a second Mac. Both systems recognize the USB device, but no video signal ever reaches the monitor. The DisplayLink app just says “Please connect your DisplayLink device.”I’m disappointed this stopped working so quickly, but I’m still hoping this is a rare hardware defect and that Wavlink support can help resolve it. I’d love to update this review if they’re able to make it right.

Perfect solution to get around GPU limitations
This is my 2nd Wavlink USB to HDMI adapter. These are a fantastic way of getting around GPU limitations that prevent adding additional monitors. In my case, I have both of them connected to different HP EliteDesk SFF PC's with the UHD 630 GPU. That GPU has a 3 monitor limit, so adding a 4th or 5th monitor can't be done with standard adapters. Since this one acts as it's own GPU (with the driver), I was able to add a 4th monitor (actually an HDMI switch with PiP) to one of my HP's and add a 5th monitor to another one.
