Great tech support
This has been working good until my last cassette change on 07/07/2025. I contacted customer support to assist in troubleshooting the issue. This is where the 5 stars should be 10. I was assisted through the troubleshooting while the tech on the line was able to WiFi connect to my device: I was impressed that a company that’s not as big as A T & T is providing this level of tech support. It was concluded that the issue is with the device and they will be replacing the current unit. I mean to say, this was how you want tech support to be.

I wanted it to work, but it just doesn't.
It just isn't accurate. Every day I would get the notice on the app about what my levels were and then I would still have to go out to the pool to test with my drop kit and see what it really was. The PH would usually be pretty close, but the chlorine level was always so much lower than reality that it would often tell me it was zero when my drop kit wold read 2+. I exchanged the entire unit for a new one. I went back and forth with their customer service for weeks and weeks. I sent them water samples, they sent me a new cartridge. But couldn't seem to fix my issue. If I can't trust it then it doesn't do me any good. I fear that a lot of the positive reviews of this are probably people that are blindly trusting it and potentially over chlorinating their pool without knowing it. It really is too bad because I really wanted this to work, it would save me so much time. And if they would just build the option into the app to let me calibrate my own unit to match my drop tests then it would probably work great. But they can't even recalibrate it for me remotely. It's too late to return it to Amazon so I'm left with an expensive paperweight.

Worth Every Penny!
I had this unit for over two years and worked perfectly fine and was easy to use to measure the free chlorine and PH levels. It suddenly stopped measuring even after trying to connect through Bluetooth and WiFi. I went through the troubleshooting procedures on line and replaced the cassette and no luck. I contacted customer service and got linked up with a Ms. Alice from customer care which asked me some information of my current unit to prove purchase of the pool guru unit and they sent me a brand new Sense2 free of charge. I love the new model since it can measure more stuff and I love the fact that this company stands by their product. This is definitely worth your money especially if you do all your pool maintenance and save you time on taking samples to a pool company to test your water. It’s super easy to set up to your wifi and Bluetooth plus the new model connects to Alexa so all in all, I’m very impressed.

Unable to get the Sense monitor to see my WiFi network making this expensive product useless UPDATE
Have been trying to get this WaterGuru SENSE monitor to connect to my WiFi network for many weeks now since purchasing. Have been going back and forth with their support group trying to get the issue fixed. So far, nothing has worked. Our details:1. Our pool skimmer is approximately 18 feet away from our WiFi router.2. Router is a TP-Link Deco X60. Signal strength near skimmer is either full bars or 1 bar less (it fluctuates). Our network name is broadcast (secured), so I can see it in the list of available networks. I’m able to drop my Wi-Fi, and my phone is easily able to find and reconnect to the network again.3. The router has been in place and functioning as expected since Sept of 2020. There have been no changes to our router and we have 33 different clients connected w/o issue.4. Bluetooth is on and functions as expected.5. My smart phone is a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G, model SM-G991U.6. The WaterGuru app I’m using is version 4.0.2(337)p.I can get the app to use bluetooth to locate the SENSE monitor that is in our skimmer basket as instructed, but after that point, I only get a "Scanning for Wi-Fi networks" message and the WaterGuru app is never able to get past that message or find my network.Very frustrated.[UPDATE - 09.06.2022]Finally got the SENSE monitor set up for the 1st time. Had to use an Apply iPhone 8+ in order to do it.This was after rebooting the Samsung Galaxy numerous times, uninstalling and reinstalling the WaterGuru app (on the Galaxy) several times, all to no avail. As mentioned before, we have numerous clients on our WiFi network, including many different 2.4 GHz clients (from Playstation, to Ring devices, to Leviton smart outlets, Rachio irrigation timer, etc). So the issue wasn't that our network wouldn't connect any 2.4 GHz devices (via their respective apps), it had something to do with the S21 Galaxy + WaterGuru android app combination. Seems like a bug in their Playstore android version of their app.Would be a 5 start product if (1) the cartridges were less expensive...or lasted longer and (2) the testing that the cartridges covered was more than just pH and Free Chlorine.
