Which might lead into, with some kids, cross stitch and embroidery. Both of which seem to be dying arts in the newer generations. Though, I could be wrong on the latter statement. Prism is a DMC brand. All you have to do is go to the DMC website and look under craft thread.

Q: are there any browns in this one?

I believe there is a "golden" brown and also a "dark" brown. You can also go to "createforless" and get the color browns you want in a 12 pack (each ) for about $5.95

Assuming that each color is measured equally, I measure one thread as 8.7 yards. There is a wrapper around each skein which says that. Hope this has helped you. Happy threading! MaxRK

Hi,The girls have finished this pack of floss, but yes I do remember seeing multiples of the primary solid colors.
