So far so good, the volume control on the right hand side is done by rotation of the earpiece which is super handy and clicks gently to mute. Cable length perfect for what I needReasonable bass response, feels well made. Not tried out the mic yet. I do on occasion use rude words whilst gaming so mic is set to off.

It's a very comfortable pair of headphones. the sound is great, especially the bass. And this is actually the second time ordering these headphones because the old ones snapped, which sounds like a bad thing, but they lasted for YEARS. And they sound and feel like expensive high quality headphones, but they're relatively inexpensive, would absolutely recommend.

I picked this up for around £45 on offer and I have to say, even though my first set was used and faulty (very clearly a returned item that was sent out in error) and after I got the second set the next day, it’sa good header if you’re looking to spend some money. I want to share the pros and cons.Pros:Great speaker set, with enough bass to make firearms and in-game weapons feel more punchyComfy over-ear design with soft pads on both your ears and headAccessible volume dial on the right earcup allows for super dialed in volumes (obviously)Long enough cable for most use cases, which is made of rubber to prevent noise travelling up the cord.Cons:Microphone cable is slightly too short, but doesn’t affect the microphone, it just feels short.The top headband cushioning isn’t great for long periods of use, and the weight of the headset does start to become noticeable, leaving a slight ache on the top of your head.Overall, Ithink this is a great headset for the price and Microsoft did a pretty good job designing it to be comfortable, accessible and easy to use.

The headset was a present and our granddaughter loves them. She says they are comfortable, with good sound and the microphone is clear.

*Writing this review 2 months after purchase*The feel of the headset is very good, they cancel outside noise and are comfortable to wear. 2 months after purchasing however my headphones no longer work properly. I regularly play online and speak to friends and the microphone has now stopped working - let me explain. When I plug the headset into controller, I have to continue to turn the plug whilst saying “hello” to see if anyone can hear me. 9 times out of 10 they can’t and I continue having to turn the plug so it gets to the perfect position where someone can then hear me. I know it’s not the controller as I’ve tried the headset on 3 different controllers and get the same issue. If for any reason I accidentally knock the headset and it moves the position of the plug, people can no longer hear me again and I have to fiddle around with it again. Not impressed after the money I’ve spent on this, very disappointed!

12 year old was very happy with his new head set and said the functions and hearing quality are all great!
