English Tea Shop Organic White Advent Calendar, 25 Tea Bag Sachets

First of all, as other reviewers have pointed out, this is not an "Advent calendar" in the sense of an overly elaborate, over-packaged, huge box with doors. It's a box of numbered tea bags. However, this was bought as a treat for myself, and having read the description I was aware that it would just be a box, with individually numbered bags, and I appeciated the minimal packaging.The box opens at the bottom, with the tea bags stacked (you can't have a sneak peek at all the teas), so it has been a nice surprise each evening to see what today's tea is (no need for doors to keep the element of surprise!). The bags are individually sealed in numbered sachets, all differently coloured and nicely illustrated. I've actually really enjoyed the ritual of sitting down before bed with a nice calming cup of tea, and it has been something to look forward to during these hectic December days.There has been a nice selection of different teas and flavours - some cinnamony, festive spiced black teas, some green teas and some rooibos. I think there was only one I didn't enjoy too much.If you're looking for an actual Advent calendar with doors, then ETS do a book style one with doors which looks lovely (I bought one to gift). However, if you're looking for a small daily treat that isn't chocolate then I can recommend this selection.

One of my favourite tea advance I’ve had so far I’d like to the fact it didn’t take up too much space and I didn’t have to hang it so it could sit nicely next to the kettle and each day you would pull the next teabag out all the teabags are numbered with the day and we’re very festive throughout

Bought this lovely tea advent calendar for my father who was saving his calories for the big day and swearing off a chocolate version after a tough year for the waistline.This had a lovely variety of different types of tea to help any fan of herbal teas find their favorites! It's a really great alternative to a chocolate advent calendar too and all of the teas come wrapped in individual sachets to help keep them fresh.

The box is a bit small, but hopefully it will be appreciated as a gift.
