adidasMen's Own The Run Tee

Roughly 9yrs ago (2013), I kicked off training for my first marathon. I had only been doing casual training to that point and did not own running-specific clothes. I decided to make my first foray into running shorts/shirts with Adidas’ Supernova line. Everything fit like a dream and held up fantastically until this year when the clothes were inadvertently washed with an abrasive dish-washing sponge (which tore them up pretty badly).  I'm now in the market for new running stuff.  I've trusted Adidas' clothes to this point and decided to pick up a few of these Own The Run shirts in Medium and Large in hopes that, across the shirts received, I'd find at least a few that fit like my old Supernova shirts.First impressions when unboxing the shirts were good:• Material - Adidas' Aeroready material is drastically more breathable (and light) relative to the material of my old Supernova shirts.  It's amazing how far materials have advanced in under ten years.  I can imagine that the moisture-wicking of this material is equally as good.• Build quality - Surprisingly, given the trends in clothes lately to err toward less expensive/cheaper materials in order to keep costs down, these shirts are actually even better build quality than my Supernova shirts, which were in the same price range.  The reflective overlays are high quality and don't appear to be ones that will separate easily from the shirts.Unfortunately, I was pretty baffled by the sizing once I actually tried on the shirts.  I was a Large in the Supernova shirts, so I tried out the Large OTR shirts first.  I am a lean, 6' 1" 175lb long-distance runner who typically wears 32-waisted pants/shorts and does not have an overly muscular upper body - overall, pretty average, I think.  Well, all but one of the Larges were so baggy that I had to double-check them to see if I'd been sent XL or XXL.  I mention "all but one" since, for whatever reason, one of the Larges actually fit me well and is now in my rotation.  The others, which were manufactured in the same location, were so large that I could easily pull them 6-8" away from my chest/waist.  Either way, I still tried on the Mediums before sending anything back, but they were all on the opposite end of the size spectrum and fit overly tight, especially around the waist.Long story short, if you're a very trim runner (under 150lb) under 6', you'll likely fit in a Medium; if you're a very muscular or more heavy-set runner (over 200lb), you'll likely fit in a Large or larger.  Either way, you may want to order multiples, since there's no consistency in dimensions even across the same size.  I'm thankful I found at least one shirt that fit me well, but I will be holding off on ordering any more for now.

My son loves this shirt and runs in it frequently. He really likes the material for running.

Love these shirts for running. Super breathable and the back is material is even thinner.

I love these shirts as they are form fitting but not too tight, they wick away sweet and look great.I'm 5' 7" and in good shape so the shirt length is not too long and the sleeves are not too big/long.This particular model has side vents, be careful as the newer Own The Run Tee look similar but are very different as they have thicker material that traps in sweat, fewer vents, is much longer and not form fitting. So look for the side vents on images to indicate this particular style.With all the own the run tees, the color shown online is often VERY different than in reality. Not always bad, but the solar red I recently purchased is safety worker neon, hot pink/orange- WOW! Easy Amazon returns remedies this. Overall very pleased with these OTR workout tees.

Perfecta es muy linda

This is a great running shirt for the price. It does run a little large. I am 6'02 188Lbs and the large is pretty big on me. I have a few other Adidas running shirts and the large fits well in each case. I have not found Adidas to hold up all that well so it will be interesting to see how this one holds up. Thus far, I have worn it for a few good runs in 100 degrees plus weather. It has performed well.

Very comfort, size as requested. Arrived sooner than expected day

Purchased a large. The slim fit is nice.If you have large arms consider a regular fit. This shirt feels snug in the arm pit compared to a couple of my other large, slim fit, athletic adidas shirts.

Para el precio está súper bien ay otras de mayor comodidad pero igual lo valenEn lo personal cumplen su objetivo, que el sudor no se quede en la ropa y que la piel siempre esté lo más seca y ventilada posible.

Es lo que esperaba, me quedó perfecta y la calidad es como siempre muy buena en todo lo Adidas.
