Tasty and nutritious
Quinoa is a pantry stapple for me.I used the TruRoots quinoa successfully in many recipes, cold and hot, lunch, dinner or even breakfast. Except standard quinoa dishes, I use it as a replacement for couscous to keep my meals gluten free. The sprouted taste makes it awesome with roasted veggies, but not my first choice for breakfast bowls (with fruits, nut and seeds). As all quinoa, it cooks very fast and fluffs up (but not as much as non-sprouted quinoa). The cooking instructions yield best texture for salads, soft, but with some bite. More time and water make the quinoa a little bit too mushy, good as a side dish or as a pudding/congee.Flavor wise, it's the classic nutty seedy flavor, with more earthy and greens vibe from the sprouting. Overall quality and taste wise, my favorite quinoa still remains Bob's Red Mill.TruRoots have quite mediocre quality bags; it doesn't impact the actual product, but the bags are flimsy and get lots of static electricity, which is very annoying for small grains/seeds like quinoa, because they end up flying around.

Delicious but the bag was rough
I can’t say anything bad about the quinoa itself. This is my favorite brand and I love that it comes in 32oz!But the bag itself looked like it had the life sucked out of it. It wasn’t nearly as “new” looking as I was expecting. The bag was very dull and almost like a layer was coming off? Weird, and hard to explain. It didn’t affect the product at all. I’ll just pour it into an air right container anyways!

better than sprouted
I was buying sprouted organic quinoa through Amazon online and it was very dusty and mushy, was trying to find a different brand. Then I ordered the TruRoots plain organic through Amazon Fresh and it's great. Not dusty or mushy. May have been fresher - best buy date of 6/30/25 and a product of Bolivia (vs Peru)

Great quality, plenty of flavor.
This quinoa is packed with flavor. It has the peanut smell that I usually associate with good quality quinoa. I was going to give 4 stars overall only because there seems to be a lot of the white quinoa compared to other tri-colored quinoa that I've had. But this is just a preference thing. Seeing all of the white pieces makes me feel like I'm eating white rice / simple carbs.

Delicious and nutritious!
Highly satisfied with this brand of quinoa. It has a soft, clean, fresh flavor on its own. I prepare it with a broth, a dash of salt, fresh ground pepper, onion and garlic powder. I eat it by itself or as some doodles or chicken, or both. Its very versatile and makes wonderful salads, too.

I like quinoa - a lot
I like quinoa - a lot.I came across a recipe on the Food Network site that called for red quinoa.I looked and looked but could not find it in local stores.Like everything else, it's on Amazon.I am glad I bought it.This red quinoa is firmer and has a bit nuttier flavor than standard quinoa I have been using.I am glad I found the recipe. And I am equally glad I found this red quinoa on Amazon.
