Rising Force

Typical Yngwie fair, but that's not a bad thing for fans....He shreds through this one with furious complexity. I'd hate to be assigned to the task of trying to accurately transcribe this album into sheet music or guitar tab. Alchemy contains some of his most tenacious playing. And with so many albums, that's no small task.

Not his ultimate album but one of his best there is only one song that I dislike but however everyone else might like this is Yngwie Malmsteen there's not much left to say probably one of the best guitarist ever bar none.

Funny thing, I received the item, opened it up and what I got was the "Seventh Sign" CD by Yngwie Malmsteen inside of the box for the Alchemy CD. Either way, Yngwie is the real thing.

The first half of this cd is amazing. Especially Leonardo. Start to lose it steam as it ends. But overall a great release.

i like the songs on this cd, yngwie is very good. i have a lot of his stuff and some sound similar but i like a lot of his stuff and alchemy has nice grooves. the second song kills. So if u like yngwie this one's good real good

Good album overall, too long i think, should be at least one less track for example 'Stand', it's hard to listen to the whole album in one play. The album should contain 10 tracks.I like the instrumentals tracks, which are the strongest point of Yngwie, tracks like 'Blitzkrieg', 'Blue' and the 'Alchemy' trilogy.I also like 'Leonardo' and 'Wield my Sword'. If you are a Yngwie Malmsteen fan you won't be disappointed.Highly recommended for shredders, and neo-classical fans.

Deshalb glaube ichmir hier ein Statement erlauben zu dürfen:"Alchemy" ist von 1999 und eins seiner richtig guten Werke. Ich habe mich gefreut als ich es aus Japan bekamund es zum ersten Mal hören durfte. Quasi alle Titel sind super (immer vorausgesetzt man steht auf seinGefiedel). Die meisten Titel sind mehr rockig als metallig und das macht auch mal Spaß.Ein besonderer Leckerbissen (für Schlagzeuger) ist Titel "ASYLUM II Sky Euphoria". Der ganze Track ist quasiein sich wiederholendes Pianoriff mit einem amtlichen Schlagzeugsolo obendrüber. Eher Malmsteen-untypischer Track,geballt mit Drum-Power - schockt !Insgesamt etwas old-school, aber für mich absolut empfehlenswert.McCOY aus Hamburg

A moins d'être un collectionneur compulsif de l'oeuvre du suédois qui jouait plus vite que son ombre, je ne vois pas ce qui pourrait vous captiver de nouveau en écoutant ce énième album du Maestro de la Strato.Certes, d'un titre à l'autre, l'album offre de franches variations tout du long. Ce qui en fait de suite l'un de ses atouts. Pour le reste, après avoir adoré (dans mes vertes années) les 5 ou 6 premiers albums d' Yngwie, j'avoue que retrouver le guitariste au même point, au même stade et au même niveau de créativité qu'il y a 20 ans, voilà qui me fait clairement "tiquer". Malmsteen a même eu le cran de ramener derrière le micro le chanteur Mark Boals. Diantre ! Celui de l'album  Trilogy . Vous parlez d'un progrès ! En matière de chanteur Hard/ Metal estampillé 80', vous ne trouverez pas meilleur prétendant au titre.Quant au mix batterie, juste un mot: Affreux.10/20 Trilogy

Creo que la palabra que mejor define a Yngwie es innovador. Su modo de tocar es muy personal y espectacular, con lo que no puede dejar indiferente a cualquiera. La verdad es que pondría lo mismo en todos sus discos.
