My 5 lb yorkie-chi and I LOVE this very well-made bag! I bought it to use mainly in my car, because I often take him with me when I run errands, etc, and I needed something much safer for him than what I had been previously using. (I chose the light grey because darker colors absorb more heat from the sun, i.e. why we wear white in the summer to stay cooler.) My little guy usually rides in the front passenger seat next to me. Our hard plastic pet crate was safer for a car accident because it is hard plastic, but it took up so much space, needed lots of blankets to pad the sides in case of impact, and it was hard to open & close the metal "gate" door all the time. Plus it was impossible to keep the seat belt from slipping off of it. So I finally shopped & found THIS JETSITTER CARRIER. This has SPECIAL SEATBELT STRAPS (yay!) to keep the bag securely in place. This takes up half the space of a hard plastic crate, yet it's roomy enough for my little guy to comfortably stand & move around. There is plenty of ventilation all around, but the side that will be facing the car's a/c vents is the side with the smaller window, so he won't have the a/c blowing on him too much. He is approx 13" long from his nose to his bottom, but he is a skinny guy with thin bones, which is why he is only 5 lbs. The soft fleece liner pad that came with this bag is Super-plush. I also like the slightly padded sides for extra comfort. He climbed inside & claimed this bag as soon as it arrived! And btw, it arrived fast! I have many different pet carrier bags & pet hand-bags, plus a pet stroller to carry him in. Each serves a different purpose. This is a WINNER for a car carrier, AND for if we fly anywhere! Also, it folds flat & takes up no space in the trunk if we ever need to transport a human instead. Lol :) If you have to choose just ONE pet carrier bag for your small pet (under 10 lbs), I highly recommend this bag! - XO

I needed a quick easy acces carrier to take my cat out front in small garden. The carrier looks good.Positives: light weight, nice fabric, carries well, lots of zippers and options of entry and exit, lots of visibility for pet. My cat liked the visibility so the panic left immediately as cat could see and this seemed to be satisfactory for the cat. Placed the bag on grass outside and cat had total visibility, as it has windows on 5 sides. Top has mesh also. All openings have zippers with a click lock. That was nice for you people out there that have Houdini pets. The bottom is very cushy and nice luxury for pet. There's a leash click, however don't rely on carrier to hold your pet if access is open as this is tough fabric and not a hard case. It has a shoulder strap and handles. I liked that I could lure cat into it with treats and then zip one side.Only negative is some of the zippers are not immediate. However, this is a soft case with fabric and foldable, so you have to line up the pizzeria sometimes. There are many of them and so choose one that's best.It served by purpose. And I can fold it and put it away. The hard cases are big. For a quick carry this is great. My cat would not be able to stretch out completely and so for more riomba hard case might be best. I was happy with the purchase. I wanted something the cat could enjoy outdoors from and quick carry to front yard without having to keep in apt the hard cases which are in the garage.

Bought this solely to use for airplane travel. I have an 8lb toy poodle, on the tall side. I will be flying Delta, on an MD-88 and Boeing 757-200. The dimensions for the latter are quite small (13w x 13l x 8h), so I sprung for the upgrade to the Comfort+ section (13w x 15l x 11h). I purchased this carrier and the AmazonBasics one (in medium), but this one is way better. I took one look at the AmazonBasics version and knew my dog wouldn't fit. This one, on the other hand, is so spacious! As soon as I put him in and zipped it up, he stood, turned around and laid down - which some airlines require the dogs be able to do. When he sits/stands, he's still pressed up against the top mesh, but it's at least soft and he has plenty of "windows" to see out of. The pad on the bottom is also nice and soft, and I love that one side has a small opening you can unzip to give treats or a few comfort pats. I will say, he HATED being in there, and I had to reward him constantly with treats (pupperoni training treats - his fav). The only drawback for me is that the zippers are very stiff and get stuck easily, which makes it difficult when trying to zip quickly and also avoid any fur. Nevertheless, this carrier is exactly what I was looking for, especially because it's soft and I know it will have enough give to make it fit under the airplane seat if there are any issues.

This carrier is great-it's about the same size as the standard (older versions) of the airline approved carriers for cabin travel but it's much smarter looking. I bought this carrier for my 9 lbs Maltese who is longer and taller than the standard breed and he was very comfortable lying down in it on the flight. Great price for a good pet carrier. I have only taken my pup on one trip so far with it so need to see how long it lasts as there were some feedback about the longevity of the product.The only two things I would say that keeps this from the perfect carrier is:1. Is carrier too tall: There were concerns that the carrier was too tall to fit under certain airlines and the fact that the rods on top of the carrier could be taken out-I found the carrier's rods actually do not keep the carrier stiff, in fact, the top would often be sinking down and in unless i pulled it straight but the carrier fit under the seat without any issues on United and I did not need to take them out.2. The carrier did not have a horizontal strap from the back in which it could perfectly sit on top of your suitcase attached to the suitcase's handles like many of our computer or backpacks, which would allow us the option of not having to carry the carrier on our shoulders-which can get tiring even with lighter dogs.

This bag is excellent . I love that there is mesh on all sides and it's top loading. My dog had a bad experience in a different travel bag and i needed one that she can where i am all the time. We haven't used it to travel yet as I'm still training her to feel happy in the bag. My dog weighs 5.4 kg and she is 50cm long and not very tall . So it a perfect fit for her. Excellent highly recommend this travel bag .

Great quality product but a guideline sheet outlining the features - especially what rods to remove and how to fold down for storage - as given in the listing, would be helpful and get a 5 star rating. I had a mesh version of this design without the top load and it didn't work for a best natured but traumatised, struggling cat, as the zips became misaligned. Not such a problem with this with the top load plus the shallow side pocket has a zip instead of velcro.

I was a little disappointed in how small it was. My cat fitted in it well, but I would have preferred it just a little bigger. Very easy to hold and she was comfortable in her journey to the vets.

Sturdy, great quality. Lots of ventilation. My dog flew from Vancouver to Toronto in this carrier no problem.Comes with fleece bedding. It was comfortable. Like the buckle up zipper feature.
