The description in the listing is a little weird. It says they are nylon polyester, but they must be one or the other, not both. The fabric appears to be adequate for the purpose, though.The description also says that the seams are 100% reinforced. I can't see any reinforcement.The seams are not finished in any way, so the fabric is already unraveling, and I haven't even used the bags yet!The last photo in the listing shows a gusset that looks to be about four or five inches, so I thought the bags would be very close to the dimensions of the plastic bags used in stores. Actually, the gusset size varies from one bag to the other, but is generally is only about 1 to 2 inches. This causes the top opening to be a few inches smaller than the plastic bags. The dimensions shown in the listing are accurate, but not accurate in the photo. I just would have liked the opening to be larger.The storage pouches are nice. As with all of my nylon / polyester bags, these are more compact when folded lengthwise a couple of times and then rolled. I can fit three of these bags into one pouch by rolling them.I can use these bags, but I'll have to do some work first. I'm going to sear the fabric edges to prevent further unraveling. Then I am going to restitch all of the seams to strengthen the bags. I am adding a loop of nylon webbing to one side of each bag so that I can hang them from the carousel at the store (I wonder why reusable bags never seem to have these loops). I am considering adding fabric to make the gusset larger, but that would be a lot of work, so I'm going to use them for a while first.

In short, these bags are super strong, easy to clean and small enough to keep 1 or two in my purse at all times. I couldn't recommend these more.Here are the details:These are bigger than your standard store plastic bags, so they hold a bit more. I fit three 2 liter soda bottles in one bag, the handles we're not obstructed, and the bag handled the weight nicely. I used one to pick small veggies in my garden (peas and beans that fall thru the holes in my basket) and when I was done the bag washed quickly in the sink with dish detergent. Quick dry nylon was ready for the store only 10 minutes later.I never have an issue with the little pouches getting lost-when I take the bag out, the pouch goes inside. When the bag is empty, it goes back in the pouch. They're simple to fold back up and the colors are great for keeping things straight (veggies in green, meats in purple, no cross contamination ever!) I'll be gifting these this year at holiday time. Save the planet one bag at a time!!!

These little bags are great. They are slightly larger than the regular plastic bag you would receive at the store and they are very strong and sturdy. The area where I live recently instituted a 7 cent bag tax and even though I am generally good about bringing a bag to the store with me now there's no excuse. These are small enough to have one in every purse you own. I gave these out as gifts to my co-workers on the day the bag tax was instituted and they all love them. Just wish these came in manly colors so my husband and son would use them.

These don't seem like they would hold a lot of weight but they do, I have carried 2 gallons of milk in one of these bags a few blocks. Just rolls up and fit nearly anywhere, I ditched the little storage bags early on but they are easier to store and way more durable than a canvas bag and have never stained from leaks. Great price for 5 bags I abused for nearly a year and have had no problems.

I found the bags to be a bit too small. While washable, a red spot on handle of yellow bag did not come out. More importantly, and more upsetting: after washing many threads from the seams came apart. I am surprised because I am not sure now how long these bags will hold up. Disappointed!

Just got back from three weeks in Ireland and Scotland and I used one of these bags every day. I gave one each to my other travel companions. They are lightweight and easy thrown in a purse. I did not have to pay for shopping bags in the stores. I wish they fit on the shoulder; that is my only complaint.

These are fantastic little bags. Fun colors. Strong, unobtrusive to carry in purse, easy to repack after you use them, and carry much more than you would ever expect---AND, the price is right! Took one to Spain for 2 weeks and used it constantly. Brought it back, repacked it and it will get a lot more use. Wish I had taken more
