My experience with the Merino Wool Ski Socks during our winter adventure in Iceland was a mixed one. While they have several positive attributes, there's a notable drawback to consider.Let's start with the positive aspects. These socks come in the perfect size, providing a snug and comfortable fit. The quality of the materials used is commendable, and they did an excellent job of keeping our feet warm in the Icelandic cold without causing excess sweat.However, there's a caveat to consider. The socks have a somewhat compressive quality, which can be beneficial for some, but the issue arises with the tightness around the knee area. This tightness under the knee occasionally caused discomfort and even pain. It's worth noting that this problem wasn't isolated to just one user; my teenager also experienced the same discomfort.In summary, the Merino Wool Ski Socks offer some positive features such as sizing, comfort, quality, and warmth. However, the tightness around the knee area can be a concern for some users, leading to occasional discomfort.

Awful tight fit buying usual size, suggest going up to next size.

The quality is great, the wool saves you from having sweaty feet. The compression sock fit adds comfort as well as the padding for snowboarding. The only complaint I have with the socks is that they are very tall and and cut off circulation behind the knees. I am 6’ 2” tall and I had to fold them down about 30 minutes into the day as they were becoming painful.
