C++ Programming in easy steps, 6th edition 6th Edition

This book is hands down the best and quickest way to learn C++ and Object Oriented Programming! I have been programming for years, working in the medical device industry as an engineer, and this book is what I used to teach myself C++ and Object Oriented Programming. The detail about object oriented programming helps you to learn other OOP languages quickly as well.

Looks good on the outside, but full of empty promises. Not for beginners. Actually one of the worst "learn to code" books I've come across. Horrible structure, nothing truly explained. "Written in plain English", not true, tons of computer jargon. Stay away from this book, you will be frustrated.

This is a great text to start to learn to program in C++. I recommend the book, and the entire series library.
