Practical solution for converting analog to digital
The Behringer UFO202-BK does a good job of converting analog vinyl records (or tapes) to digital format at an affordable price. When paired with the free Audacity software, it is a complete package that will produce clean sound that will satisfy most home users. It is easy to hook up the hardware. The software (Audacity) must be downloaded, installed and set up to acknowledge and configure the hardware. This is a little more involved. Hint, check the codec/driver for the USB interface for "DVD quality" stereo.Start the audio source then "Click to Start Monitoring" then "Record". When done select File, Export, MP3 (or WAV) then save your original project file too. You can separate and label individual tracks, clip lead-in or between-track dead air, eliminate clicks and background noise, normalize levels and balance, adjust equalization and much more. You can go as simple or complex as you want. If the source audio is clear and clean, your digital file sound quality will be equally impressive.Update (I've added a star):I've used this for about a month now converting over 25 cassette tapes and 40 vinyl audiophile records, (DBX, Direct-to-Disk) and regular consumer LPs to digital files - both MP3 and WAV.The Behringer UFO202-BK A/D hardware is really just a minor player in this process. Hooked up correctly, it performs flawlessly. But the most important component is your input source followed by the software and don't forget good quality monitor speakers. All your work is actually done in the software. Behringer recommends "Audacity", and provides a link for downloading. The current version is 3.1.3. It has all the features and processing tools the home enthusiast needs. It is the correct solution for most of us.This is where, I think, many people struggle. Documentation is downloaded and installed with the application. It is complete and comprehensive. But, it's not written for someone who is more interested in fishing than recording. Read the "Tour Guide" and "Getting Started", hook everything up, put on some music and start playing around. Go back, read some more and repeat as needed. There are U/T videos that offer help also.I've had a lot of fun getting my tapes and albums sounding just right. And now, I'm enjoying a bunch of fine quality old music that I haven't listened to for years.

100% ok

AUDACITY-Aufnahme. Funktioniert gut.Bietet gleichzeitigen Line-Output an Verstärker, HiFiAnlage etc. . Stromversorgung 5V via USBkabel.Bin für den Preis voll zufrieden damit.
