Great smell, great ingredients, but it doesn't last - I found myself needing to reapply more than twice per hour.

I am in love with this lip balm! I love that it's all natural, uses essential oils and is made in the U.S. I am extremely picky about the way products feel on my lips. I love the way that this feels! It's extremely smooth, not sticky and not overly greasy either. One thing that I have trouble with is that you have to either use your fingernail to get a chunk out of the container to put it on or if you just rub your finger over it you could do it that way as well, but it takes a few times to get enough out that way. I would have preferred to have it in a tube instead for easier application. Other than that there's nothing else that I've had an issue with it.One thing to take note of are the essential oils used in this lip balm. They are not listed on the ingredients list on the top of the container, but it is listed here on the product listing... "Cinnamon Bark, Clove Bud, Cassia, Lemon, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Cajeput, Frankincense, and Peppermint. These nine oils include properties such as being antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral, antimicrobial, pain-relieving, and more." I actually love the smell of this lip balm, though some others may not. The clove and the cinnamon are the oils that stand out to me when I smell it. It's not overwhelming though, so I don't think there's really anything to worry about. After you put it on the smell lingers for a short amount of time. Can't really taste it unless you really luck your lips. I'm really happy with this lip balm. These balms are a little bigger than I expected but that's more balm for my buck - a nice surprise! There are 2 of the balms which is great- I can keep one in my purse and one at work so I'll always have one nearby when I need it. My lips get chapped year round, not just in the winter. I've found after using this balm that it does help to hydrate them so they don't get overly dry or sunburned. I like how the balms smell, they are all natural and scented with essential oils. So much better than the medicinal scent of others I've tried. The consistency is very light and doesn't feel goopy on my lips. It also doesn't attract my hair when I wear it down, which, if you have long hair you know what I mean. These are lightweight, natural and they feel good on my lips. I'd definitely recommend these balms for anyone who's lips need a bit of extra moisturization and protection from the elements and just everyday life.* I was given a sample to try with no obligation other than to provide an honest review.
