UTKFar Infrared Heating Pad Controller

This heating pad gives great relief when my back is in pain. It is comfortable and heats up to a high level. Their customer service is excellent. They listen and resolve issues. Recommend purchasing for pain issues or just general use as well.

Even tho, the one year warranty expired, ( just a month over a year), they replaced the controller on our blanket. I suggest selecting the OPTIONAL insurance from Asurion !

The remote on my UTK Jade mat stopped working. I bought this replacement as per Customer Service for $60. It is a better design than the original remote, but something inside is loose and it rattles around. The mat is not heating evenly. I am not sure if it's the mat or the remote but I am really disappointed.EDIT/UPDATE: Tina sent me a replacement controller to try and when that didn’t work and we realized it was the mat itself she sent me a replacement mat.The controllers themselves are a better design than the original and feel sturdier (no rattling in the new mat controller).Great customer service, thank you!

I have purchased 3 of these far infrared mats. I have had to replace 1 mat under warranty. And I have had to replace the controller 4 times over the 5 yrs I have owned this product. At one point the seller offered me a big discount to NOT write a negative review. This is the only way that I can see that this product gets even close to 5 stars. The length of time the controller lasts ( biggest issue) is less than 2 years. Don’t buy this product unless you are willing to pay $70 every 1.5 years to keep it working.

The heating pad was fine but the controller kaput. I tried this in an effort to save $ as the complete pad system is rather spendy. Plug and play.

I like the selection of heat levels, the timer and memory function. I think they should last longer. I have had to replace it twice now in 2 years

The UTK pad I have has been used rarely and the controller stopped working. I ordered a new on and before it arrived the one I got with the pad worked again then stopped. It seems to me that it should be able to be repaired. I resent buying a new controller but no choice if I want to use the infra red pad. Not sure why the company didn't offer to repair the original controller as I would have paid for the repair. I don't like being a throw away society.
