As a locksmith I've never seen a crease on a shim like these have. They have always had a curvature to the shim. The storage box is a nice featur. Other than that, the item is a described.

Works great and I’m able to shim a lock open without anything else

I had a tumbler that needed repinning but didn’t have the key. These shims saved me!

Had number of Schlage locks but the keys were nowhere to be found. Watch several Internet vids on how to remove cylinder without key using shims. These worked. Takes a bit of practice but eventually you get the hang of it to slide the shim between the cylinder and the pins. I was able to do two to three cylinders before the shim started crimping.

Perfect size for gutting and pinning locks. Keeps all the pins and springs in place while removing and replacing the lock core.
