Sleeping, standing, moving in any way really is painful after open heart surgery. Use this to keep your sternum pain to the minimum possible. You will still be in a lot of pain and struggles with sleep will continue, but everything will be less painful. Ask surgeon to get it put on before they take you to recovery.

This brace is an absolute must if you have had open heart surgery. Very comfortable and easy to get on and off. I just wish I had purchased it immediately. This gives me the security I need. It fits really well. I couldn’t ask for a better brace! If you are going to have heart surgery, I highly recommend this product.

You can't do much, but you can do THIS
Doctors can't put a cast on a fractured sternum, but they do know you'll be in pain and that you need to be careful for several weeks to heal.Doctors will prescribe serious Rx pain killers, but it will be up to you to protect your chest for several weeks.This chest brace will help you recover and should be a "must buy" if you've been seriously injured and need to heal.
