Really a good deal for 50 pcs pack of brushes having adequate performance and very affordable price
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have been using this type of brushes for a couple of days before coming back to give the review here. Overall, I am very satisfied with them due to its very affordable price and adequate performance. They can hold a sharp point, can resume its shape quickly after I lay down a brush stroke, and they are durable for a couple of days without a problem in my painting.Of course, because they cost so much less I don't expect they can deliver equal performance as those expensive kolinsky sable brushes do for a long time (yes, I do have some expensive brushes like Winsor & Newton Series 7 that I frequently use in my painting). But they are so affordable that I can even just throw a brush away when its performance started to degrade a bit after a few days of use. No need to worry about or spend extra time to take care of the brushes as I used to for my expensive brushes because I have 50 brushes in a pack! That's really good for me and saving me time.Overall, 5 stars and highly recommended budget product in supplement to my current set of brushes.[Edit on Oct 31] Added a short video here that I recorded using my mobile phone when receiving the pack a few months ago. I have been using this pack of brushes for some time and I am very satisfied with it. A really great deal with a great balance between performance and unit price. I will certainly order more when these are used up.

For the price, I'm not sure if I will ever use anything else
So, I got these brushes yesterday, and I decided to paint a model exclusively with an 00. This is not my normal procedure, I just wanted to see what would happen. Pictures are associated with the review. It was a warhammer 40k Orc with rokit launcher. I've taken a picture of the brush after finished just one single model. There is a slight hook of the fibers at the tip of the brush that was probably created during the edge highlighting of the model. My impression. . . look if you paint better than this. Then congratulations! This quality of paint job has easily won local paint competitions once the model is based. It's happened, believe it! That said, there was nothing about this brush that would have prevented me from spending a couple extra hours and making everything even better. In short, I don't see any limitations to these brushes other than durability. That said, I go through a $6 dick blick masterstroke in about 15 models, much less if I'm not careful. That was my cheapest solution until these. I've also lost brushes much faster in my earlier days because I did not notice paint going into the ferrule. I expect that I can get 3 complete models per brush from these brushes and so in my book, it's about 3x value I was getting out the master strokes and I would have to cut the hairs at the ferrule to keep the expensive brushes going as long as possible.

Good product and a great value IMHO!
Received on-time! I bought these fine-detail brushes for painting faces, etc. on small figurines that I have been making out of polymer clay - so far, they work just like they're supposed to. I am very glad I purchased these b/c I'm quite lazy when it comes to cleaning my brushes and these work out very well for me! I have already used a few and I haven't noticed any loss of brush hair in my work which is AMAZING!So, if you're lazy like me and hate cleaning your brushes every time you turn around, give these a try! @ 50 qty for the price, how could you go wrong???

best minipainting brushes for the money
With paintbrushes, you can invest in a few very high quality, highly expensive brushes and baby them to death so they last as long as possible. OR you can buy cheaper ones and just throw them out when they go ragged. Unfortunately, most cheap brushes aren't any good even when they're brand new and only go downhill from there through use. These brushes, however, are shockingly good for being as cheap as they are. My old habits die hard, so I've been treating these like my nicer W&N S7s and clean after every use and try to keep the paint out of the ferrule. They're holding up really well and I'm only on the second brush after weeks of using the first one. At this rate, a 50 pack should last for ages.Summary: If you paint minis, buy these. You will absolutely not regret it.

Cheap, doesn't keep shape
I would never again purchase these brushes, in my opinion they are poorly made, the hairs fray with the slightest use, I would not waste my money.

Price is good
I use these brushes to paint rocks. I do most of the painting with these detail brushes. Some of the brushes seem to hold up better than others in the same large pack, but for the price, I would not complain. I have had one brush hold up to about three rocks, while another barely finishes one rock with nearly the same amount/type of work. The handles of these brushes are painted black by the manufacturer and some of the handle paint washes or rubs off when you clean the brushes but that doesn't affect the bristles. I sometimes find the bristles difficult to clean, but again, the price is good so I use one brush until its no longer doing what I want it to do and then simply take out another.

No shedding!
Very good price, and so far there has been no shedding! They are super small, and they exactly what I was looking for. You can do very detailed spots with these! I do paint by numbers projects, and there is some very small details that were hard to get. Now I have no problem!

Great value
These are perfect for my needs. I teach miniature food classes and my students don't always take the greatest care with the brushes we use, so I'm really happy to find such a great price for 50 brushes. Some of the bristles are a little uneven, and I wouldn't use them for very precise work, but they're perfect for applying chalk pastel powder and liquid polymer clay and for not having to worry about a few getting ruined each class.Sometimes the ferrules pop off the brush handles, but I just glue them back on and feel grateful that I didn't pay $2-4 a piece for them!

SO MANY BRUSHES
I've ruined 3 in the past few days dry brushing and guess what? Who cares! These brushes get the job done, sure they aren't like silk coated mink hair from the eastern himilayas or some hipster crap, but you get 50 of the bastards. Like you could throw them away after every use and theyd be cheaper than other options.

Remarkably good for the price
These are the best low-cost paint brushes I've found on Amazon.ca, and I've tried lots. I paint the miniature for both tabletop wargames (40k, Malifaux, AoS) and for board games (Gloomhaven, Blood Rage, etc...) and I was very happy with the quality of the brushes. Obviously, they're not Winsor Newton series 7, but the price point is unbelievable. You could easily paint minis to a high tabletop quality with just these brushes. I went with the size 1 and was pleased with the length of the bristles and tightness of the point. Not much belly, but the long bristles help a bit. I'm not sure how long the point will last, but for $0.50 a piece, who cares. Seriously, just buy these brushes. Even if you only use them for base coats and other rough work, you are getting more than your money's worth. PAINT MORE MINIS!!!!

Fantastic Value
These aren't the most amazing brushes, that shouldn't come as any surprise. The value however is fantastic. Nearly all the brushes had nice sharp tips and functioned admirably. No matter how well you take care of them, they're going to have a short lifespan, and that's totally ok, you've got a ton more. I don't use these for projects requiring the absolute best results, but for everything else, these work sufficiently well.

Not much to say
They aren't pro quality or nothing but if you paint minis and/or models then consider the fact that at this price, you can just toss them out after a session of painting and have a fresh one for the next. While i like to keep my brushes and spend more on good ones, for the small details, i do find it easier to replace them so this set works great for me.

Fantastic value, surprisingly good
I paint miniatures like Warhammer etc. These brushes are perfect, I am really rough on my brushes and these do the job! If I wreak one (which I will) oh well, I have 49 more! They don’t have fancy handles like more expensive brushes and the bristles are quite soft, but they seem to hold a point and I have no problems applying the paint..... and you get 50 of them! Will absolutely get more in the future!
