Great entry level device. Assembly required, but that is the start of the fun.
This is my first FRM printer, but certainly not my first adoption of technology using an overseas supplier and support function. Regarding the product, I have been pleased with is as a learning platform that when understood can deliver very good results. It worked satisfactory upon initial assembly, and as I continued to use it, learned more about how to get even better results.Part of the experience and the very low price point is the DIY nature of the product. It will arrive 90% assembled, but you need to do the final assembly. The instructions are reasonably good and all visual, and this process will take several hours. If you want a printer that is out-of-the-box ready, select a step up model that requires minimal set up.Twice I needed to contact technical support and received very good response. Am I US based (east coast), so the time zone difference with support is about 12 hours. I used email to engage and expected long delays in response, however, most responses where within a day or so, and even the immediate auto-reply advised of the difference and informed of a likely delay. That said, response times where reasonable and the information provided was exactly what was needed. Neither issue was 'urgent', nonetheless, the replies where timely.

Working on it more than it's actually worked
I bought the AnyCubic Kobra Go in November and wanted to get a few good months of use out of it before I left a review on it so I could be honest. That being said, I have been working on this printer since February 5th with AnyCubic support over email, meaning I have been working on it longer than I have had a functional printer.I'm an IT Technician and have no issues working on this sort of thing, but this printer has been a nightmare. The thing that attracted me the most was the auto-leveling feature. I wish now that I would have put less importance on that, even though it was my first 3D printer. It printer well for the first month and a half, then started to have some layering issues. Despite how many times I would set everything back to 0 and run the leveling process, one end of the bed would always seem to be just a smidge higher than the other.AnyCubic's support has been really good, despite the fact that there is a turn around and delay due to time zones and different holidays, but they really have been very helpful, friendly, and provided videos and instructions that are easy to follow if you are at leasy minimally technically proficient.I have replaced the z-Axis motor, full print head and all associated cables, system board, lead screw and stabilizer, and I am STILL having issues with it raising the Z-Axis. I've taken this thing apart and put it back together more times than I care to think about over the last several months, and AnyCubic's support now just wants to replace the Z-Axis motor and system board again, only a month after doing them both in the first place.I tried requesting a printer replacement and was told they cannot since they work throu several different sellers, so they can only replace PARTS while it's under warranty, not the whole printer, which still baffles me since it's still their product.I would not buy another one, nor would I recommend this one had I known I was only going to get a month and a half out of it before 4 months of pure frustration.Save yourself the headache and spend a little more money on a slightly higher end entry model from Voxelab or Crealty.

A good option for entry level 3d printing
I'm a beginner to 3d printing and I imagine if you're reading the reviews it's likely you are as well. Right off the bat, I think this is a solid option for someone who's still unfamiliar with this hobby and isn't willing to shell out more for a higher end model like a Prusa.Assembly was easy in the sense that all parts were neatly packed and labeled, and I ended up using a YouTube video for the most part so it was uneventful in a good way.I had trouble figuring out how to set the proper printing level, and there was little info in the manual as far as what a good setting is. I ended up using -1.74 if that helps you. Settings seem to be a big part of 3d printing, and there's not a one size fits all approach. The AnyCubic Kobra is a newer model and so there wasn't much to go on as far as what settings were best for what material.Things I liked: Nice overall design and build quality, the printing base being flexible and easily cleaned, ease of use getting files from my laptop to the machine via memory card. Slicer program is efficient and relatively easy to use.Things I didn't like so much: There's not much information on what settings are good for PETG, PLA, TPU. My PLA prints are great, but right now I'm still trying to figure out how to not get blobs in my PETG or getting my TPU prints to actually work. I once downloaded a file that printed TPU perfectly but wasn't able to replicate with my own files using the same settings.Loudness. The fan and the whine of the little motors is pretty persistent and can be annoying to some people, which is why I personally can only print during daytime hours. All in all, it's a great choice for beginners in terms of price and quality keeping in mind you are sacrificing convenience by having to assemble the machine and troubleshoot print settings to find what works. Compare that with more established models with many users who can share tips and information about what works.
